“Great hotel and very affordable”

While the hotel is a little way from the main tourist sites, if you purchase a Metro day or two day pass the distance doesn't become an issue. It was also very affordable especially when travelling on NZ dollars in Europe. Great to have a kitchenette to prepare food if we wanted too. Would definitely stay there again.

The location of this hotel is nice since you can take only one Metro line from Opera station where you can get a bus to the airport (It costs 9.60 euro.) to this hotel. There is a nice supermarket nearby, so you can buy the things which you need for cooking there. The things you need to be prepared are an internet cable (There is free internet access!), a sponge and a detergent to do dishes since the hotel staff won't help you to do so. I left 1 euro for the service of housekeeping every day, but somehow, they never take it (I was wondering why.) Anyway, this hotel is excellent, and I will definitely go back when I need to stay in Paris.

The Citea Paris de Charenton at Charenton-le-Pont is rather a long way from the centre of Paris, but is within easy reach of two metro stations. The staff were most helpful and friendly. The decor was a little tired, but the apartment and bed linen were beautifully clean and the furnishings comfortable. Others have pointed out that the showers have no curtains and moaned that the floor becomes wet. True, but the bathrooms are designed as wet rooms, so yes, the floor will get wet and it's something you have to live with. Although it's situated right by the Peripherique, the two sets of double glazing kept the roar of the traffic down to a whisper so it did not disturb us. A good place to stay and good value.

“Ideal for us!”

Our second stay here this year. Friendly staff (who speak English if your French isn't up to it), plain, clean, comfortable accomodation, with self-catering facilities. OK, it's a long way out, but the metro is close by (Liberte) and you're on the right side of Paris for Disneyland! We absolutely thrashed the metro/RER, so getting around was no problem and really had our moneysworth from our Paris Visite tickets. Breakfast was a trifle expensive, so we used the nearby boulangerie for croissants each morning and found a supermarket in the shopping mall near the metro which sold English tea! This aparthotel suits us down to the ground and we shall stay here again!

“Great hotel for family travel”

We spent 6 nights at the Citea on a recent trip to Paris with our two children. It was a fantastic value. The room was neat and we appreciated having a fridge to store food items. There was a market and grocery store within a couple of blocks and the metro was extremely convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a visit to Paris.

An apartment in a hotel.....very comfortable with all basics provided...
