“Not impressed”
Location was great, parking very convenient, rooms are not all that good. Pillows were lumpy. Hotel staff not very friendly or helpful.
“Clean, spacious place for a family.”
This hotel is conveniently located between two metro stops. The hotel is clean, quiet and safe. You definitely feel at home in the room and a family of four fits comfortably. We could not get the stove to turn on and since we were staying only one night, we did not bother to find out how it works. It works with a timer, so it should not have been too complicated. If you are traveling with a family, this is a great option in a city that does not accommodate families very easily.
“Citea Paris de Charenton october 2010”
An apartment in a hotel.....very comfortable with all basics provided...
“A nice place to stay in Paris.”
The location of this hotel is nice since you can take only one Metro line from Opera station where you can get a bus to the airport (It costs 9.60 euro.) to this hotel. There is a nice supermarket nearby, so you can buy the things which you need for cooking there. The things you need to be prepared are an internet cable (There is free internet access!), a sponge and a detergent to do dishes since the hotel staff won't help you to do so. I left 1 euro for the service of housekeeping every day, but somehow, they never take it (I was wondering why.) Anyway, this hotel is excellent, and I will definitely go back when I need to stay in Paris.
“good hotel for a short stay”
The hotel is good and well mainteined. I did not have any problems, except for the internet connection, which failed sometimes, but the rest was alright. I recommend this hotel, as it is not very expensive and offers all the basic facilities. Besides, there are two metro stations very near it (5 minute walk) and a bus station that goes to the city center.
“Definitely recommend this hotel”
Close to two metro stations; restaurants, stores, and shops nearby; only 15-30 mins from tourist attractions; excellent service; staff speak fluent English.
“Great Basic Stay for Family”
I don't know why people expect five star hotel at a motel price. We stayed two weeks with a 7 and 3 year old. It was a one bedroom, so we could put the kids on a pull-out couch in the other room while we slept it a decent bed. The kitchenette was convenient and cost effective as there was a market two blocks away, near the Liberte Metro stop (you need to have dishwashing liquid, scrubby, salt, etc.). Clean, safe and the staff was very polite and helpful. There is a safe in the room and wifi in the lobby (bring a wire for internet in room). A playground is right around the corner. It was a great launching pad for our day trips to Paris central.
“Nice enough hotel”
We stayed here for a couple days while seeing Paris. We had 2 small children along with. It is a distance from the tourist attractions of Paris, but we had a car so it was fine. They had a parking garage under the hotel so it was nice to not have to worry about parking. The reception desk workers spoke pretty decent English. We did eat in the breakfast room one morning and found it to be a little high for what they offered. With 2 small children that don't eat all that much, it wasn't worth it. But the room did have a fridge so we just bought some supplies at a store & ate breakfast in our room. They cleaned the room every day. It had wonderful soundproofing, so that even though it was next to a major highway, you didn't hear a thing! There was a nice little restaurant a block away that was wonderful - we ate there a couple times. They offered the menu in English so it was most helpful. We had asked for a double bed - all they did was put 2 twin beds together - which is pretty common in France, except they didn't make up the bedding as a full then. So we actually put the twins apart & put our kids in them, and we slept on the pull out couch. It worked just fine.
“Great Experience!”
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was only a few blocks from a Metro station and close to a grocery which was nice since the room had a kitchen. The room was very clean and comfortable. I spend half of my life in hotels and the sevice at this one was on the same line as some of the more expensive hotels here in the states. I have already recommended this hotel to two of my friends.
“Good hotel, no complaints”
This hotel is just what we needed for spending a few days for our first time in Paris. It is outside the main city, so a pretty quiet area. It is a very short walk to the metro (talking like 2 min walk) and the metro gets you anywhere. The hotel itself is clean and seemed great for what we had heard about European hotels. If you get a double, you essentially get two small twin beds pushed together. The shower is small just like they all are out there, but it works. There is a small kitchenette in the room which is nice to have for groceries to save some money. Lastly, there is free wifi down in the lobby so you can plan more of your trip like we did as we went along. I tried to think of a complaint that I might have with the hotel, but really nothing comes up, so I guess it's a pretty good choice!
