“Perfect location-->felt like we lived there!”
This hotel is in the perfect location. It is in between two metro stations and nearby to many fine bakeries nearby. There is a supermarket across the street and a fine outdoor market just steps from the Acte V (hint for outdoor market--bargain just a bit and you will get a better deal and if you like oysters, buy them at the outdoor market and for a few Euros you can purchase a oyster knife/shucker just steps from the outdoor market--ooo lala). My husband and I spent the first four nights of our first trip to Paris in this hotel and the last three in a very upscale hotel overlooking the Eiffel Tower in the 15th Arrodisment at more than twice the price of the Acte V. As difficult as it may seem to believe, we enjoyed the Acte V much more. It was very clean, charming, and in a perfect location (close to Notre Dame, Shakespeare and Company, and many, many wonderful restaurant choices). The hotel staff was friendly and spoke English well. Having compared two very different locations and hotel classes in just one trip, I can say this is just the perfect place to stay. I felt as if I was a part of the actual community. If this is what you like, it is the perfect hotel for you.
“Very nice hotel!”
Hotel is located in good area. We had balcony with a view to Notre Dame. Everything was with walking distance, if you don't mind walking. On the same street near the hotel there is nice French restaurant/bistro where we got a 3 course meal for 13 euro each. We loved the fact that we could have a good sleep on the day of checking out from hotel as a checking out time is 11 am. Definitely would stay there again!
“3 nights in Paris”
Went with my partner for three nights. Great clean 3 star with very friendly staff.
“Great Location”
Fantastic! We had a room on the 6th floor overlooking the amphitheatre...what a pleasant surprise. The rooms are clean, showers miniscule, but the location couldn't be beat. We had taken the train in from Germany to Gare de l'Est and jumped on the 7 line straight to the hotel. We'd stay here again.
“Lovely & Quaint”
Lovely friendly people, clean, warm, and chique French. Close to all sightseeing places and good bars and restuarants all around.
“Great hotel & great location”
Stayed in Paris for 2 night break & this hotel is in a fantastic location, 10min nice easy walk to the Notradame cathedral & slow walk from there you can pick up all the others sights in he area. Could not believe the amount of reasonable priced restaurants within 10 min also,, 5 min walk to the Latin Quater & 2 metro stations nearby, 1 & 4 min walk
“Nice hotel, great staff, value for money.”
Good location for Metro stations, good local amenities such as a supermarket. Only downside - no kettle in room if you want to make a morning coffee - no buggy though as there are lots of places you can grab a drink or a bite in the morning.
“STAGE 1 and perfect for Mormor's Bucketlist...”
After much research decided on ActeV and it was just perfect. Could not be more central to what we wanted and needed. Close to Metro, within walking distance to market, cafe & restaurants, museeum, parks & gardens. Staff was helpful in everyway . Will stay there again. Breakfast buffet was good(12.00Euro) and plentiful, although we only ate there once.
“Excellent boutique hotel”
The hotel reception area was very inviting and what you'd imagine a Parisien hotel to look like. The room (a standard double) was pretty small, but that was to be expected in Paris and was more than comfortable enough. Staff were friendly and after our pigeon French ran out seemed happy to speak English. The location was convenient being mid-way between 2 metro stations on different lines.
“Perfect for a short break”
Very pleasant little hotel in great area. Very close to metro station. My room overlooked the arena de Lutece and I awoke to birdsong. Staff all very friendly and helpful.
