“A hotel for your Barbie / Sex in the City dreams to come true in.”
The hotel is in a great location, near everything a tourist would want to do. Starbucks is directly across the street. The actual hotel has a super sexy girlie design. It is the place for your Barbie / Sex in the City trip to Paris. Part of the design includes a small elevator. (You & your bags will not fit together. Put the bags in and take the stairs...) The rooms are well put together with nice designer touches. The rooms are small, really small. You will need to repack your bags everyday if you wish to have floor space. Service at the hotel could be better. Soap and other bath items are not replaced during your stay. They are stingy with towels. Also, the hotel does not provide washclothes. (Repeat, no washclothes are provided.) I would stay here again. This hotel is a 4*. If so, it is closer to a 3* than 5*.
“Surprise of the size of the room”
very small room tiny elevator one saff to help
“A little gem”
This is an excellent address in a busy and elegant section of Paris. You can walk to the Champs Elysees and many other famous shopping avenues of Paris. There are endless restaurant options within walking distance, as well as small delis and pastry shops. The coffee shop across the street is very convenient too. The rooms are comfortable, clean and with a cool, modern deco. I had large windows so the room was bright and pleasant. The bathroom and bedroom were both perfectly clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly. One potential issue if you have lots of luggage: the elevator is tiny. Overall an excellent experience.
“Small quiet area - Starbuck across the street”
Nice Location
“Alexander”
Very convenient location.
“A gem in the 8è arrondissement”
Everything about this hotel is great. The room is a nice size for european standard and decorated with style. Adorable bathroom with all necessary amenities. A lot of details in the design of the place which are pleasant to the eye. Subway station at the corner, as well as great patisseries and restaurants. There is a starbucks coffee right accross the street. Great place to seat and watch passersby before starting the day. I will certainly stay there the next time I am in Paris.
“BEWARE!!!!!!!”
We just stayed at this hotel and got horrific service. They first checked us into a room where there was unbelievable construction noise - drilling and hammering - not what we envisioned for a trip to Paris! We asked to change rooms - at the same class type - they moved us to another room - claiming it was the same room type we paid for. I called after 3 nights as my wife kept asking me are you sure our new room is the same room type you paid for. So I called the front desk to ask what was the room type we were in. It turns out for the 1st 3 nights they charged us for a more expensive room and put us in a smaller room type. And then when we brought this issue up w the hotel manager they blew us off and try to blame it on us. Now we are back in the US and we are fighting the charge on the room. To make a long story short they dont deserve a Michelin Star - which is why we booked the hotel. No customer service and dishonest. Not suprising for Paris but why take the risk. Enjoy Paris - its one of favorite places in the world.
“Great hotel...would definitely go back”
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were nice and speak good English. The hotel is small though, but good enough for me and my husband. It is in a safe, quiet location but you could walk to the Champs Avenue. It is accessible and really close to the Metro station. Another plus is that it is right infront of Starbucks, so that takes care of our coffee addiction :-)
“It's Paris”
My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for a week. They were consistant at the front desk, and gave courteous instrutions, directions, and help in quite good english. The room was New York size and comfortable. We were in a great location and walked to most everything close by. Ave Champes, Notre Dame, the Effiel Tower, and the Louvre, were all within walking distance for us, however may not be for all people. Did not use the restraunt in the hotel as we read it was expensive. In hind sight, eating out is expensive so it probable would have been fine.
“Perfect hotel for girl's or romantic getaway!”
My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel le 123 Elysees for 3 nights in August. The hotel is charming, chic and centrally located. There is a Starbucks and a grocery store directly across the street and a charcuterie/boulangerie around the corner. There are also several good bistros in the area. Our room had a street view (very nice) and was tastefully decorated. We had a very comfortable kingsize bed with lots of extra pillows and blankets. The hotel is well air-conditioned (we were in Paris during a heatwave +35 C). The elevator is old and tiny but to be expected in a older bldg. The bathroom was elegant and had nice products and a blowdryer. We had absolutely no complaints with this hotel! Front desk staff were friendly and accomodating. I have and will recommend this hotel to friends and family.
