This was our first stay at Theo Sunset Bay. Overall, the Hotel is nice and features impressive views from the lobby/pool areas, with all the basic amenities required. The pools were especially nice, although the main pool wasn't really an "infinity pool". The room itself was a studio with sea view - this was very modern and very recently been built. (Unlike some of the larger family apartments) On the whole this was nice, and was kept well clean by housekeeping. However we did have frequent issues with the shower, with no hot water, or the shower simply turning off mid shower, especially during peak times. While there was a sea view, it was certainly not as picturesque of that in the lobby. We stayed for Breakfast only, which was certainly for the best. The buffet food offerings for breakfast were not great, and most of the food was not very appealing aside from the fresh pancakes. I would suggest the hotel focus on reducing the variety of the food, and focusing on quality. On the one evening we tried the evening meal buffet, the quality was terrible, and I would recommend eating at local restaurants instead. Staff in the hotel were mostly friendly, although we did experience issues with one member of staff with paying for our drinks, and poor service. On the whole, I would say that Theo Sunset Bay offers good value for money if you are looking for a place to stay with nice pools, however for an all inclusive experience you may be best placed spending a little more money.
