Overall it was excellent. The only issue is to get rid off the cats in the pool area. Many people were justifiably unhappy with cats roaming where they had their breakfast.

Interesting decorations, quite unique. I liked the labyrinths around the place, many ways to walk around. I did not like that our room was at the ground level. Location is excellent, easy access to diff.sites and restaurants, close to bus as well. Well organized transfer from the airport.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, everyone was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. The hotel offers room service and it is 2 minutes walking distance from the Mall where you can find pretty much everything you need.

Absolutely best place in Paphos
Far better than expected, great location and what an amazing decor. They spent 3 years hand painting the entire hotel. Neither of us agree with previous reviews that the hotel is run down. The staff were friendly available and professional. Breakfast good and varied. Excellent sauna and table tennis. Incredible value for money.

The whole roman boutique experience is fantastic, for all its bling its a lovely, clean hotel with excellent facilities. Nothing to dislike, only niggle was no where to plug in a kettle other than on the floor

It goes without saying that the main selling point of this hotel is the Roman themed decoration which was neat. The rooms were clean and well maintained. There wasn't any bad smell in the rooms. The breakfast buffet was disappointing for 12 euros or whatever they were charging. Ok to stay here once for the experience.

Just across the road from the biggest Mall in Paphos, 10-15 min walk to the Harbour and about 20 min walk from the old town/main bus station, plenty of options for restaurants and bars around the hotel. The pool is great, although a bit cold at this time of the year (November). Interesting decoration but the most important bit the rooms are spacious.and the hotel has plenty of facilities. Breakfast buffet was okay, they have some tables next to the pool which is a nice setting.

Roman Hotel is uniquely decorated and ideally located for easy access to buses, mall, harbour and Coral Bay beach being just a short bus ride away. The overall staff service was very friendly and the pool area is without doubt exceptionally pretty and there were ample sunbeds at all times. The breakfast offering was perfectly acceptable. I do honestly have to say that the beds are like concrete though and by the 8th/9th night of a 12 night vacation, I was having to take pain killers because every morning my back was so very painful which was because of the rock hard and uncomfortable mattresses. Most of the in house spa treatments other than massages were unavailable? not sure why, if you can give someone a massage, then why can't you get hair and nails done??, I would not return there again due entirely to the hard beds alone.

Great small boutique style hotel. I stayed during Oct towards the end of the peak season so the pool was very quiet during the day which was nice. The pool is stunning, surrounded by colourful plants and Roman style ruins. The staff were very polite and friendly. The theme of the hotel was very unique and a bit different to the norm, which is part of the charm! The aircon and shower are both a bit dated but function well. The bedroom was huge with a Kings Size bed. Located 20 mins walk to the harbour and a 2 mins walk to the Kings Mall. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

It was located near a huge mall. The hotel had no elevator, so we had to trudge upstairs with our suitcases Our room was air conditioned but the common area was uncomfortably hot Brunch was included. The pool was enjoyable and half in the shade, even better.

Read the reviews before we booked this property and it was exactly what we were expecting. A little cheesy with the decor but made for a fun experience, great for the kids, and fantastic location.

Hotel is unique but a bit over the top with decor in rooms, pool area fantastic. room was tired and could do with tlc in bathroom area. only one available plug socket in room no USB charging no tea and coffee or safe deposit facilities in room. but is was large enough with lovely balcony, quite and great staff

The decor is unique, quirky and fun. The pool is beautiful surrounded by plants and clean and fresh, not iver chlorinated like most hotel pools. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the cortyard and pool.

TACKY hotel
"Free parking" was on the street! Pool was great, however the room was gaudy and over decorated. Great selection at breakfast. Charged for ice at the bar. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The hotel was great! Super unique and different then all the other big resort hotels in Paphos! The decor was very fun to walk around and see, the pool was clean and refreshing during the hot day. And the staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel itself isn’t the newest and most up to date. The room itself is funny, only 1 outlet in the whole room in an awkward place, and there wasn’t even a kettle to make coffee in the morning which meant having to wait until breakfast opened in order to drink a morning cuppa. But in the end it was fine and didn’t matter much as the rest made up for it! Across the street from the mall (ended up handy at one point to go to the drugstore) but it’s about a 6/7 min walk on one side to the beach and then 11/12 min walk to the harbor where there is so much to do! Definitely recommended and would stay there again in the future!!

The hotel is full of character. The walls and doors are all painted with Roman scenes and the layout is a bit quirky which adds to the novelty. The pool is lovely and well shaded at times which makes it seem very private. The food at breakfast was varied and good quality. The staff were all helpful. The only thing was that the bed was on small casters which meant that it moved about on the tiled floor with any vigorous movements.....

I liked everything. The pool was one of the best I had ever seen,setting,size,access,cleanliness were all of a very high standard. Staff were always happy to help and nothing was too much trouble. Room was a very good size, decor was unbelievable a d the location of the hotel was brilliant.

The decor provided a giggle at every turn - cheeztastic, which is what drew us to the hitel in the first place. Absolutely lived up to expectations. A little tired in places but, given the intricacies of the decorations, a spruce up would be a major operation. However, didn't detract at all from our enjoyment. The pool area is absolutely beautiful - a blossom filled oasis. No towels reserving sunbeds to greet you each morning Cant praise the staff highly enoygh. Very friendly and helpful. Wish list: tea making facilities in bedroom and fried eggs every morning at breakfast .
