The hotel it self is really nice, the breakfast is okay, even though the staff will close the buffet 15 min before to a sure they had food left for them. The rooms are okay however the bed from our room 225 was as hard as prison beds, my back was killing me for 3 days. The cleaning staff are extremely loud and do not respect guest sleeping. To top that off we arrived pretty early at the hotel but we’re informed we couldn’t check in because “they’re were no rooms available” so we stayed in the pool area while they had “availability” it was 11 am and the room225 was cleaned. I passed by receptionist at 12 and asked and the receptionist told me she still had no room available. I came back at 4pm and to my surprise I was given room 225. So they basically made me wait around just because, if I would have known this I would have paid an extra day just to have a room available but this wasn’t event offered to me.

The rooms are very small and clean. the location is in the heart of town. the pool is nice and the restaurant on location is a good breakfast deal at $8.90 for the buffet

We really enjoyed our short stay (3 nights) at Swan's Cay. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool was great, just steps away from our room and the water was the perfect temperature. Staff were helpful and friendly. The only thing that was not great was the dog tied up next to a house behind the hotel that barked every afternoon/evening, but not much the hotel can do about that.

great location close to everything at isla colon but at the same time quiet no loud bars or restaurant next to this hotel which is a problem in bocas. Swans cay quiet and peaceful. the Hotel has a pool that not many hotel in bocas has one. they also have a nice sushi restaurant. great place i will be back soon

They mixed up the rooms. Then gave me a different room but not like my previous, offered an upgrade for $95. The Hotel was under maintenance and smelled like straight paint. No room service the whole stay. Needless to say we will not be staying there anytime soon

Great for the price and location.
Service is excellent. They allow for luggage storage and shower use after you check out. My room had a couple dead bugs in it but was otherwise clean.

In general, this hotel is one of the better hotels in Bocas, however Bocas has a lot of bad hotels. The good - the hotel is centrally located, hot water, and good English skills. Also, the front desk staff was ok, especially the young lady working there, as she helped me out a few times. The bad - wifi was somewhat unreliable, the bed was so hard is was difficult to sleep on, I was given a paper wrist ban and told I needed to wear it to access the hotel at night (for 3 days), and then on my last night there was a serious roach problem. So bad they were getting into bed with me. That was too much.

Compared to other offerings this is good value
I booked at three different places so I could sample a few and I'd say that this place offered good overall value when you compare to what else is on offer, on the main island, and how much others are charging. Bocas hotels tend to be bare bones, so you can't expect a lot of luxury. If the room looks a bit dingy but is clean, has a/c...hot water...a good location...friendly staff...then it's a winner. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant has very limited hours and once it is closed you can't get drinking water in the hotel...and the "supermarkets" in town close early...so make sure to stock up before you retire for the evening.

Hotel was better than expected. There was a slight mix up with the reservation but they fixed it right away and even threw in breakfast for the bit of trouble. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area is beautiful and we wish we had stayed for many more days.

Super cool hotel at the mainstreet of Isla colon
I choosed this hotel because of the pool and I loved it, want to go back already. The staff people are so nice, the location, the bed!!!!! It was so difficult to wake up.

Decent, nice pool, room rates can be high though
comfortable room, air con was great, fridge was handy, bathroom was modern and large wih large shower. VERY intermittent wifi though (throughout the whole hotel), shame room had no lounge seating. Balcony was bit cramped and with poor quality seating. Pool was pleasant and clean. Hotel is quite dated in public areas. Something living, large and black scuttled under one of the sofas on the first floor landing when I approached it one day (shivers). Breakfast was not inspiring!

This would be a fantastic classic hotel if the restaurant was open, the bar was open, rooms had new furniture and paint, wifi worked, etc... . The staff was fantastic and very helpful.

1st visit to Bocas
Hotel resembles a place from the 50's! However, they do have great air conditioning and a fresh water pool. It is close to all of the downtown restaurants. Worked well for us! Be sure and check out Undersea Promotions for all of your excursions! They are excellent! Ask for Estaban & Alexi!! Tell them the Professional and his family sent you! They will crack up!

the first night we got the wrong room. we had requested a double bed, and got two twins pushed together, with different height mattresses. bad sleeping, but they got us into a double bed for the next two nights in the original hotel building. the swimming pool is small, but refreshing in the high humidity. room safes worked, and natalie at the desk was a doll. far enough away from the party scene that made it easy to sleep

Excellent room in terms of quality, comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Nice pool and good breakfast buffet ($6.50 extra). Although it's in the centre, it's fairly quiet at night although rooms on the main lobby can have a bit of noise. I used ear plugs. Biggest let down, apart from slow wifi, is the staff, some of whom can't even manage a smile. I arrived at 13.00 and said I had a reservation. The woman on reception looked up from eating her lunch and just said" check in is at 15.00" then went back to her food. No attempt to see if a room was actually ready - although I was able to leave my pack and change before heading to the beach.

Good Value for the Price
I stayed for a business trip and I know Bocas very well. The cleaning staff was great. The front desk staff were not very friendly or helpful. The staff in my opinion should not be vacuuming outside rooms early in the morning. Most people ar seating here on vacation and don't want to be woken up to that. It could easily be done later in the day.

A Nice Place for a Family on a budget in Bocas.
A nice enough place with a fridge and a pool. A place with a pool for this price is hard to come by, but if traveling solo a hostel would be a great cheaper alternative.Breakfast is not included so go eat at a Fonda (locals mom and pop place with cheap food. Hotel is on one of the main streets in town about a block or two from the waterfront and the "action" if that is your thing. There are good places to eat nearby, just above the bookstore behind the back entrance of the hotel we had excellent food at Pin-Up. We also ate at Taco Surf Bocas and had some very tasty tacos a few short blocks away from the hotel.

A fairly central mid priced hotel with a pool.
A nice hotel for the price, plus it has a pool for the kids. It is on one of the central streets of town and within a few blocks of everything. Hotel is not waterfront if that is what you require.

We got a huge room, bed was really comfortable, amenities was good as well. Not a lot of noise from the bar next to the hotel. Overall our experience was good, and I recommend this hotel to anyone.

The place has some character but is badly faded and needs a big upgrade. One doesn't have to be terribly finicky to be bothered by the hard bed, the old fashioned key, the ancient wallpaper and the loud creaky door to the bathroom in the small room, which will probably not only awaken your partner, but half the people on the floor! But for 80 a night you are in the middle of Bocas town.....

Nice Hotel close to everything
When we arrived to the hotel, the staff was there to welcome us, the check-in process was completed in less than 15 minutes. We were a group of 5 (all adults) so we used 2 rooms. Both rooms were good with a/c, cable tv, bathroom and of course the bed, that were comfortable.
