Great location, close to some bigger city, food is delicious with plenty of variety if you are not a picky eater, only issue is the wifi in rooms is spotty. AND BEWARE if you are renting a car, go with someone other than Budget who sold me extra insurance cause they were not seeing our expedia booking and then charged me extra for a tire when returned...

Concluding our Panama trip at Playa Blanca, we faced challenges navigating the resort with a surprising lack of English-speaking staff. Dated rooms, limited accessibility, and the absence of coffee makers were notable drawbacks. Despite these issues, the food was plentiful and decent. Attempts to dine at other restaurants were hindered by a reservation only policy. The beach area was well-maintained, but concerns arose about the underweight horse used for rides. The pool deck was clean, but the water seemed cloudy. First-time at an all-inclusive, this experience has sparked my interest to continue exploring similar resorts.

Rooms were musty smelling and mold on the beds and water damage everywhere in the room the food wasn’t good the resort was packed and the huge pool your only allowed to use a small part which was also super busy huge lines for food someone stole our chairs on the balcony the family rooms are the same size as the other room just with more beds only good thing is the water slides for the kids zoo and arcade were both a joke

They have multiple options for units to stay in. We stayed at the Town Center towers, and we had a lovely view of the logan. A good selction of non resort eateries if you get tired of the resort food. Overall, relaxing, enjoyable and child friendly.

Food was great, the rooms were pretty clean, aircon working well. I would suggest a better service at check-in, it took us a long time to get our rooms and once we had the cards/keys they did not work and had to go back to reception 2 times.

This property is extremely old. It should be condemned and remodeled. Booked for 5 days checked out early rooms had mold on the Furniture headboards lamps and the couch. Ate the same thing everyday for lunch and dinner. All of the entertainment was in Spanish nothing in English. Very few staff spoke any English. Carlos and one of the front desk staff members was great and trying to accommodate my stay but had to change rooms three times before settling into a room that was barely suitable to stay in. Looked at a total of seven rooms during my stay all had mold.

Se nota muchísimo el paso de los años en el hotel, están restaurando la piscina donde está el bar húmedo, las habitaciones desgastadas, las sábanas de la cama manchadas y muy desgastadas ya, en las áreas comunes se ve el paso de los años y la falta de mantenimiento y “amor”. La comida… le doy un 75 de nota. Definitivamente no es como veces anteriores.

Really enjoyed our stay. Wouod like the option of an airconditioned restaurant to eat in and breakfast stoos too early and no food options until lunch starts. Shouod have snacks available 24/7 otherwise really enjoyed the rooms and food and service

Hacia 12 años que no iba.. el problema principal fue la alimentación, la calidad de los alimentos y su variedad terrible.. Debo agradecer al chef David la ayuda para que los niños tuvieran lo que comer. De hecho fruta no era un ítem disponible todo el día, las preparaciones todas con salsas, vegetarianos vayan con algo propio, opciones de pescado nos toco 1 sola comida. Los snacks solo nachos, hotdog o hamburguesa (ni siquiera papitas) Nos alojaron en una torre lejos de las instalaciones, debemos agradecer a Rogelio otro funcionario que nos ayudó a trasladarnos entre un punto y otro, pero no es algo que tenga resuelto el hotel.. Decepcionante para los adultos. Los niños disfrutaron del parque de agua y de los shows en la novhe

Dario and Maytel, at the front desks, were fantastic! Especially Dario was very helpful and sweet! Food was good, as well as the pools and the beach. Also, there was a lost of activities and entertainment at this resort! Only inconvenience is that is very far from Ciudad de Panamá Airport (almost 3 hours by taxi). We might come back when the other airport which is like 5 minutes away, start having flights from United States.

f I could give this all-inclusive resort 0 stars, I would. It is the most horrible, dirty, miserable resort I have ever visited. I have photos and proof of what I am saying, sick dogs in front of people eating, horrible food, at the buffet The Velero restaurant, which serves seafood, opened on a Monday and didn't open until Friday, and the Italian pasta restaurant, the same thing, look carefully before paying for something. The photos don't match what it is like right now, maybe when was built En español para los que no me entendieron si pudiera darle 0 estrellas a este resort todo incluido lo haria es el resort mas horrible , sucio , miserable que haya visitado jamas tengo fotos y pruebas de lo que digo , perros enfermos en frente de las personas comiendo , la comida horrible , en el buffet , el restaurant el velero que es de mariscos lo abrieron un lunes y no lo abrieron mas haste el viermes y el de pastas italiano la misma cosa fijense muy bien antes de pagar algo las fotos no son acorde a como esta ahora mismo tal vez cuando lo construyeron

I have been to this resort when it first opened many years ago. Everything was new, food was good, people were happy. Today the staff tries to compensate for what they know is a complete disaster. Everything is worn out, broken, in need of paint. Mattresses may as well be bags of coconuts tey are so lumpy. Water is off half the day. Beer dispensers are broken at each bar. Food is obviously saved from one day till the next because nothing is that chewy when first cooked. This place needs serious tlc. Dont come if you can afford better.

Unprofessionally Run Resort
Our stay was Not what we expected. The check in staff was Unknowledgable of owners benefits or The Organizations that Make up the Corporation RCI that is Part of the Network of Owners from all over the world. We were charged for being a Couple 😡 and we were both Owners in RCI but At the Time of check in Nobody knew what RCI was. So we paid and Extra 79.00 for being a Couple wasted an hour checking in only to be sent to our Room where the next adventure began. The Elevators had No AC and The ride up to the 5th floor in a Glass box was Tourture with the heat and Sun, next we get to our Room and Theres No cold water in the bathroom sink, No Hand Towels, wash clothes, Not one drinking cup, spoon, or plate in the kitchen area and the AC unit was Not adequate enough to cool the Room off and Keep it cool. So we spent the day outside by the pool and the Bar. And I will say the Restaurant staff was Great 5 stars. And The night out was great. Upon waking up the next morning early because of the Heat and Room temperature causing us to sweat was Ridiculous as We were forced to get up and Go back out and We stayed out the entire day. The outdoor bartender ivan was The best and We enjoyed the day outside by the pool and Beach. I will Not be back even when visiting panama again, ill try someplace else.

The room was nasty and the refrigerator was broke. The door for the balcony was broke. The food was not cook correctly. The amenities that supposed came with the room, it was not true. Disappointed

Como panameña que vivo en el extranjero y he visto resorts en otros paises, playa blanca esta decayendo demasiado rapido y si no mejora me temo que todo sera peor. Este es un hermoso resort con mucho potencial, pero ya es hora de renovar sus instalaciones, entrenar mejor a su staff y mejorar su comida. Ejemplo, poner frutas en el almuerzo y cena. No solo en el desayuno. Poner aire en el gimnasio, y definitivamente limpiar los baños mas seguido, no habia una hora del dia en que no estuvieran sucios. Y eso que fui a varios.

la ubicación es muy buena, la playa y la piscina es perfecta. pero le falta cuidado y mantenimiento a zonas comunes y especialmente a las habitaciones. la comida es bastante rica, sin embargo es limitada y generalmente es lo mismo. Anteriormente habia opciones de restarurantes para reservar diferentes tipos de comida, ya solo hay uno. el lugar tiene todo el potencial, creo que le falta mantenimiento y cuidado para que vuelva a se lo de antes.

Horrible - stay away! Dirty & no customer service
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty bed frames, black mold in bathroom and in room. Everything is outdated and there are 20 beach chairs only at beach and maybe 30 beach chairs at the pool for over 1000 customers - ridiculous. You could consider sitting on sand but there are 4*4’s all over sand area and horses peeing and pooping all over so sitting on sand is also out of question. The pool is also dirty and filled w empty drink cups and empty plates and no one seems to care or want to clean it up. We raised many of these issues to several people working here but no one seems to care and they say talk to management - management also does not care. I travel around globe at least 10 times a year and realize Customer service in Panama is bad- but this place tops it w being worst! Check in and check out is worst ever- we prepaid and yet waited in 2 separate lines over 1 hour to check in and then another 1 hour wait to just return the keys- all normal hotels have key drop off areas. We came for new year eve and the only good thing was the year end show. Buffet food is not bad for buffet style and the food service people were nice. The beach overall is also dirty but this is common in Panama as people leave trash when they come to beach. This place seems ok for Panamanians but anyone used to nice places should stay away.
