Very basic accommodation
This hostel is located in a residential area of Panama City. There is gated parking for two cars only. The room was bug free and not noisy. The best I can say is that it is very budget friendly and in a relatively safe place for a one night stay.

This is more of a hostel than a hotel. The room we had was small, air conditioned, with cable tv and an adjoining bathroom. The bathroom had a large walk in shower. Furnishings were minimal, but so was the price. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the water got hot. Breakfast wasn't fancy but it was tasty and fresh. A nice start to the day. The staff were exceptional, hence the five stars. They were very responsive and always helpful. The driver was ten minutes early to drive us back to the airport. I always felt safe If you are looking for basic lodging at an excellent price, Pacific Dreams is it.

Decent but isolated, charges 2X for airport pickup
It was good for the most part. The location is not close to any city attractions. You get what you pay for, so it's not too fancy. The biggest disappointment was that they charged double for airport service than they said in the Hotels.com website. If I knew I would have to spend $30 extra dollars on airport pickup, I would have just stayed at another hotel near downtown which was cheaper, and where you could travel to/from the airport via uber for less money.

The rooms are very small but clean. You may have to share bathroom. Not a big fun of what is served for breakfast but thats an opinion. The bed and Breakfast is also close to a bus stop, various restaurant and foodstore

Decent stay in El Dorado neighborhood
I spent a total of 3 nights here - 2 nights before my trip to Guna Yala (San Blas Islands) and 1 more night when I returned. I stayed in the toronja room (the rooms are named after fruits). It's the standard double room located in the back by the garden & next to the dining/breakfast room. The room had a TV (which I didn't use) and a good, functioning A/C. The room was ok as it wasn't cleaned very well - the floors were a bit dirty & the walls could use a repainting. The bathroom also looked like it wasn't cleaned well. The hot water was also very temperamental - the hot water took awhile to come out & when it did, it was so hot & didn't last long... you had to adjust the shower every time but the hot water would run out quickly. But overall, the room was big & spacious for a solo traveler like me and it did its job. I guess I just expected a bit more, esp. in terms of cleanliness in the rooms, for the price and after having stayed at their sister B&B/hotel in another neighborhood. The breakfast was simple & good overall - eggs, bread, butter/jam, fruit, coffee/tea, juice. The wifi worked very well in the room and all over the property. The staff was also very friendly & helpful.

Overall a good experience.
Pluses-above average service and friendliness. The room was clean. Good breakfast. Great value overall. Negatives-Room needs paint and repairs. No where to hang or store anything. Overall a good experience keeping in mind that this is a budget stay.

Clean and pleasing!
We were to meet people from outside Panama, whose departure was delayed. Emilio and Michael helped us change our reservations at Pacific Dreams, and with the domestic airline, They were more than accommodating and really nice about the confusion made for us and them. Understanding, helpful and friendly. The building was clean clean clean, the beds comfy, the neighborhood quiet, everything worked, and our needs were very adequately met.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was good and the place was clean. We slept comfortably, despite being in a room street facing, there was not much noise at night. The only issue that we had was the lack of hot water. After the first few showers, we got used to it-but it would have been a much better experience had the water not always been cold(ish). However, if I was seeking a room on a budget, I would stay here again.

We booked three nights for a three person room. They were doing electrical work in our booked room, so they added a single bed to a room with a queen. It was cramped, but being backpackers we rolled with it. However, this room was in the front of the house and has older windows. The street noise woke us up many times throughout the night. We informed the host of this and he promises to look into fixing the matter. Now, that's all the bad stuff. They are still working on this place and it's nice. The food in the morning is really good. They will also sell dinner if you wish to stay in, but we used the nice location to make trips into downtown Panama City. The host is knowledgeable and happy to give advice on where to eat, shop, tour. The water faucet was a bit temperamental at times, but we had HOT water in a big shower. Fresh towels and room service daily I might add. You must return your key when you leave the house and if you are driving you must have the host open the gate for you. The inconvenience is offset by the peace of mind, knowing that your valuables are safe in your room, as well as your car from vandalism, theft or accidents on the street. The location is fantastic. It's only about a 20 minute drive into town with traffic. You are not far from corridor norte, highway 1 or highway 3. 30 minutes from the airport. There is a mall within a 5 minute walk. The air conditioning worked marvelously.

Nice hotel/hostel
This was a house in the burbs, which was a nice suprise. Within walking distance to nice mall, grocery store (Reys), and restaurants. Taxi to Metropolitan park was around $6. Casco Viejo is a definate must see. Room was nice and I had the bathroom to myself. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lounging area was a table under back patio. A couch or chairs would have been nice.

Nice small bed and breakfast
The staff were excellent and friendly room was clean and neat. The only problem I had was the bathroom was out in the hall and it was difficult for me as I am handicapped and inconvenient for me and there was no table or chair in the room. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I enjoyed the staff they were very helpful with my needs. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood so there was a restful nights.

CASA mal llamada "HOTEL"
Es una vivienda que la medio acondicionaron para que parezca hotel, pero jamas volvería. Admiro y respeto el espíritu emprendedor del dueño, pero deberían ser mas transparentes e indicar que es un BED & BREAKFAST. Las fotografías del sitio publicadas no corresponden a la realidad del lugar. Y pese a que se nota que hacen un buen esfuerzo no es un sitio para descansar a gusto. Hay excesos de ruido, solo 2 espacios para parqueo, tv muy pequeño, pasillos muy angostos, es una zona residencial y no hotelera.

Si en la pagina usted se fija siempre hemos colocado en que categoría estamos en relación a la parte hotelera, en la descripción del lugar también colocamos que estamos ubicados en una zona residencial y a cuantos minutos de distancia estamos del centro de Panamá . De los dos espacios para parqueo usted utilizó uno las dos noches que estuvo con nosotros sin ningún contra tiempo,las fotos estas actualizadas al 100%. Independente do valor pago na estadia, quem trabalha com o público e quer atrair clientes deveria pelo menos se preocupar com o serviço prestado. Fiz um pernoite neste local, chegando no único quarto disponível, o mesmo encontrava-se repleto de traças pelo quarto e em cima da cama, o lençol e a fronha do travesseiro encontravam-se sujos e com cabelos (que não eram os meus, pois se quer havia deitado ali). Ao sacudir o edredon percebi em cima do lençol branco da cama muita sujeira preta e marrom que, sinceramente, não quis nem analisar o que era. Havia lido comentários positivos sobre o café da manhã, porém, uma ilusão, pelo menos nesta minha experiência. Me ofereceram uma panqueca fria, com maçãs cortadas e aparentemente velhas, já que estavam bem escurecidas, e um pote pequeno com uma colher de chá de aparentemente requeijão e geléia. Para melhorar, o café estava absurdamente frio. Não indico nem para pernoite!

El hotel está situado en El Dorado junto a una avenida que conecta Tumba Muerto, Albrook, Tocumen y por tanto es muy útil para realizar estancias de paso en viajes a otro lugar. El CC cercano tiene multitud de servicios. El lugar estaba en reforma de apariencia. El desayuno fue sencillo y adecuado.

TODO UN FRAUDE!!!!!!!
La posada (no se le puede calificar de hotel) es una casa, no cubrió con lo ofrecido en publicidad. En los 4 días de estancia nunca limpiaron la habitación, ni siquiera cambiaron las toallas ni vaciaron la papelera del baño. Nos cambiaron el jabón una vez porque se lo solicitamos. El desayuno fue muy deficiente. No tiene áreas de esparcimiento. Lo que funge de closet no tiene un solo gancho. No hay agua en la habitación. Ningún mueble para colocar las cosas, tuvimos que colocar nuestras maletas en piso. El precio por noche no lo vale. Hay cantidad de hoteles mejores en Panamá al mismo precio e inclusive más económicos. Lo mejor del hotel es su ubicación, El Dorado. NO VOLVEREMOS. NO LO RECOMENDAMOS.

Adresse am ehesten mit Taxi zu erreichen. Aber bei uns gab es drei Mal das Problem, dass der Taxifahrer nicht wusste wo die Adresse ist, obwohl sie nahe einer recht großen Straße liegt. Es empfiehlt sich deshalb einen Kartenausdruck oder eine Karte mitzubringen zum zeigen;-) Dann klappts auch. Negativ ins Gewicht gefallen ist, dass in der Unterkunft im Grunde keiner bis auf ein Angestellter Englisch spricht. Und der ist natürlich oft nicht da. Ausserdem gibt es nur kaltes Wasser in der Dusche. Trotzdem, es sind alle ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Man kümmert sich. Wenn dann empfehle ich maximal 2 Übernachtungen. Da schafft man eigentlich die relevanten Dinge in Panama City zu erkunden. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist etwas rar und nichts für solche, die gern eine Auswahl haben. Positiv ist hier natürlich insgesamt der Preis. Alles in allem lässt es sich schon aushalten.

A pesar de la buena atención del hostal, la limpieza de las habitaciones y de los variados desayunos, tuvimos la mala suerte de que unos antisociales armados irrumpieran en el establecimiento y sometieran a todos los huespedes quitándoles sus pertenencias, situación que practicamente nos dejó sin nada.

Al llegar al Aeropuerto los taxis te asustan respecto al hotel porque es una casa adaptada, pero realmente las instalaciones son limpias y cama comoda con aire acondicionado, yo elegi baño compartido, estaba afuera de la habitacion y tambien limpio y comodo, tambien se puede elegir baño privado por un poco mas, el desayuno tanmbien estuvo bueno.

IDEAL PARA VIAJEROS QUE DESEAN CONOCER Y COMPRAR
El lugar me pareció muy apropiado para trasladarse a diferentes puntos de la ciudad. Existe un trato muy amable al turista y una atención personalizada que hace sentirse como en casa. Un costo muy adecuado que le permite al viajero gastar lo suficiente para hacer mayor eficiente gastos en turismo y compras. Se encuentra cerca el Centro Comercial El Dorado donde se encuentran cosas a muy buenos precios.
