“Great Hotel!”

Great hotel! Beautiful view from sun up to sun down. Great place to unwind and relax. Excellent pool area. Also, exercise trail across the street beside the waterfront. Shopping mall half mile up the street. I was able to get around with ease on very little Spanish. Service at restaurant is slow on Saturday. Hotel has a wonderful Sunday Brunch...so much food for a great price and service is excellent. So many wonderful pictures to remind me of my excellent trip.

“Love this hotel!”

This is THE hotel to stay in in Panama City! The rooms overlook the bay from floor to ceiling windows, the bathrooms are spacious and the floors are marble--and spotless. We checked out several other upscale hotels and were so glad we were staying here. Easy to get a taxi and you will save money if you hail a "street taxi" from the blvd. behind the hotel over catching one the hotel calls. We felt very safe using the street taxis. It is very centrally located and it is fun to be on Balboa Blvd. We would absolutely stay here again!

“Nice Hotel, Good Location”

The hotel is very nice and clean. Situated in a nice area and close to shopping and restaurants. The food wasn't very good, but inexpensive so you don't feel so bad about it. Staff is nice, but not terribly solicitous. The off site excursions they arranged were excellent but, not inexpensive. Overall a very pleasant stay.

“"Vacationing in Panama"”

Nice hotel with good view of the ships. Great walking area from the hotel on both sides of the road (by the water). Availability to rainforest adventure as well as panama canal. Restaurant and bar staff provided good service and options. The hotel has a very nice pool downstairs, but unfortunately it was being renovated during our stay. We would stay at this hotel again.

“Average”

What to say about the Miramar? well for me it has the confort of a 4 star hotel with the rates of a star hotel. The size of the room was adecuate and the service was as expected. This was my second visit to Panama City and I stayed at the same hotel, very important is it's location on the city with ocean view and close to the financial district and several shopping malls.

“Didn´t meet the Intercontiental level expectation I had.”

I paid for an upgrade to Intercontinental Club level but when I arrived they had a lower upgrade for me. I had to pay again for an upgrade. There was a strong dissagreable humidity odor at the lobby at all times. The manager was not kind at all when I indicated this to him.

“Very disappointing service”

In general, the hotel facilities were OK and the food was good. However, the service was extremely disappointing from the beginning: The staff was not friendly at all (sometimes I thought they were having a bad day, but all of them at the same time??), we were never taken to the room we got by the bellboy, the hotel lost our baggage for almost 2 hours (I had to go downstairs to personally retrieve it) and additionally, at the check out we were charged items we never consumed. I don´t recommend this hotel, specially if you go with your husband/wife.
