“Went two weekends in a row. Loved it.”
Wonderful hotel. Very large well-maintained grounds. They had carts to ferry you around the resort it was so large. But there are several pools that you have access to throughout the resort. We especially loved the outside bar with the sitting area around the gas fireplace. We ate dinner there and had drinks and were comfortably warm due to the fire in the center of the table.
“Favorite Hotel in the Desert”
We love coming to this hotel for the beauty of its grounds and the comfort of the hotel. It is reletively small and intimate, you don't feel like you are sharing it with a crowd of people. We love to walk in the morning on the extremely well kept grounds and watch the sun come up, the view is terrific.
“Can't wait to go back”
Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived several hours earlier than check-in and were immediately given a room. Convenient and free parking. The only negative thing I can think of is the pool could be a little warmer (even during the summer).
“The perfect golf getaway!”
Perfect vacation! My 11-year-old loved the pool and the golf! Pete Dye was challenging and fun to play! Beautiful grounds and hotel! We had the best time! LOVE the Westin Mission Hills!
“GREAT STAY FOR THE COST”
When I read the reviews on the hotel it was about 50/50, some liked it, some didn't. I have no idea why anyone wouldn't like this hotel. They keep the grounds immaculate and the rooms are all very well kept. I would definitely stay here again.
“Every holiday should start with 2 days here”
Luxurious super comfortable beds in a large first class room with great facilities, tea and coffee etc. Perfect start to a holiday but a hard act to follow. Great place to unwind and be indulged.
“Enjoyable Stay”
Rooms were nice, beds were comfortable, room has what you need. Hotel is on a large property, so try to get a room close to what your plans are.... If you like the main pool try to stay close to there. Hotel does have shuttles running around. Grocery store, and resturaunts are just down the road about 2 miles.
“Wonderful rooms with Heavenly Beds”
This hotel is in the ideal location for us. Close to shopping and the freeway for a trip to the Carbazon outlet mall. Golfers should be forewarned that it is also in the windy corridor, but we loved it. Great pools. ONe has a waterslide.
“Solid resort- good for kids.”
I recently traveled to the Westin Mission Hills with my girlfriend for a weekend trip. Expedia had offered a very aggressive rate and we had opted to take advantage of it. Once we got there, we found that the room we had paid for was of the "looking at the parking lot" variety. I upgraded the room to a golf course for only a few bucks more per night. It was worth and the room was still very reasonable overall. The location is somewhat away from the main drag in palm Springs, so if you want to be right in the middle of the action, this isn't really the place for you. it's about a 10-15 drive to the heart of Palm Springs. The facility itself is very nice, was kept clean and was very kid and pet friendly. We took our Yorkies and they were well taken care of, they offered a feather dog bed and water dishes for them- so that was nice. The food in the breakfast buffet was good but not spectacular. The service there was friendly and prompt. The pool's tended to be a little busy, especially the main pool with the waterslide. If you're not into crowds and kids, the main pool is not the place for you. The do have an adult pool that is quieter but still somewhat crowded. The spa is fairly small and somewhat limited in it's amenities. Prices were on the high side, even for a resort like this too. All in all, this is nice resort (especially for families) and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a short getaway.
“GREAT Dog/Kid Friendly Hotel”
Wow! When they say Heavenly, they mean it! The resort is beautiful and the location is perfect. The rooms are spacious and well appointed - everything you need to relax. Great beds, linens, and other amenities. Big bathrooms, nice vanity with make-up mirrors, great towels and robes - it was just wonderful. The biggest bonus was being a dog-friendly hotel. Not only was the staff welcoming to our dog, they brought a dog bed and adorable dog food dishes with a place-mat. Way to go Westin! We'll be back soon!
