“Not recommended.”

Bathroom left a lot to be desired. Tub faucet wouldn't shut off completely. Electrical outlets jury rigged in room. Morning breakfast looked horrible. It was too cold to use the pool, but it was full of trash and leaves. Definitely won't stay here again.

“Disgusting place with terrible customer service - stay away!”

Terrible room, awful customer service, dirty socks laying on floor when we arrived, additional charges for a crib (?!?), getting an extra blanket was like pulling nails, when we tried to check out early after a bad experience, we were still charged for a second night. No effort was made to rectify the bad experience. Travelers beware!

“BEWARE!!!! You may end up paying for more than you bargined for....”

I was going to write a RAVE review, but had some accidents that made it HORRID. Besides some cosmetic issues it was a decent hotel. I was honest and upfront with my accidents as being honesty and sorry does pay anymore. I was charged $80 for soiled sheets and a broken coffee pot that cut me when it broke becuase the lid fell inside of it and I tried to pull it out. This happened the day before as well, so beware. I am upset right now cause I WISHED I had picked a better hotel that might have been more considerate, caring and definitely more undestanding. I guess they were used to the low forms of life is why I had to pay. I, a female, was placed next to a room with 4 men that were living there & drink beer until the wee hours. I thought about asking to change rooms, but figured it was inconvient. I was partically fearful of leaving the room at night as I overheard another patron talking about his jail time as well. I wished I had asked because maybe it might have gone better for me. Sadder yet is my credit card did not work either which is my issue, but I called back cause I am a good person. I am getting frustrated with society, as a teacher who is taking a pay cut, more kids in the classroom, and payment of busing for my own children. I was taking a stayacation at this hotel just to get away for a bit. I will think twice next time.

“Construction Nightmare”

The motel was hard to locate, because it is situated behind a fast food restaurant. The condition of the motel and the rooms were not what you expect of a Super 8. The parking lot was tore up.

“Won't go back”

Room wasn't updated as in the picture. No coffee pot carafe. Went to front desk and they asked me how long I was staying. I told them 5 nights, so they gave us a carafe. The next day we didn't have any coffee in the room. Following day the coffee carafe was a different one which had not been washed and had a big chip out of the lip. The chip was in the bottom of the pot. Our tv didn't work properly and after complaining three different days and the same question asked of us of how many days we were staying, they gave us a working tv. The bed springs 'sprung' each time we rolled over. Very lumpy, uncomfortable mattress. Pillow was so flat it was almost non-existant. Linens left a lot to be desired. Never did find fresh fruit at the complimentary breakfast, no matter what time we got there. Lots of frozen waffles and cold cereal though, not especially a good thing. A guest was at the front desk complaining that he had been there one week and still did not have his request filled. The famous question came up, "how long are you staying".

“VERY DISSAPOINTED”

There was poop in the toilet when I first arrived. It was totally disgusting. Indio is great but this motel is not. There was no hot water and no towels. This is what made me decide to write this review as that was the last straw.

“Terrible!--- would NOT recommend!!!”

Hotel is supposed to be under construction...ha! Looks like it's been 'under construction' for years-- with no completion date in site (if you get my drift). Hotel has a deserted feel, having only a few choice rooms to offer clients (which are barely passable, i.e. coffee pot had been used, leaving coffee runoff in the pot, carpet unvacumned, etc). Further, this oddly shaped hotel has no view (the hotel has a partially built building separate from the first, (also under construction)adjacent to the hotel's main entrance. The property is located on a large, open, empty, back lot, (a Burger King blocks the front view) which is not well lit. However, people (primarily teens)use this area as a short-cut home after leaving the local theater (late into the evening) which can be seen at a distance. Portions of the building have been 'draped' for construction (not a pretty site) making it necessary to take the long way around to reach some room destinations, and for us, parking was in the back, our room was in front, facing the pool area. Additionally, the pool and pool area were chained off to the public (pool water was an unsightly green and completely visible from our room accomodation-- needless to say the drapes were drawn shut for the duration of our stay). We wanted a clean, safe place to stay the evening. We would not go back.

“Avoid the Super 8 in Indio, CA”

Did not get the first floor room that I reserved,Not enough towels in room and towels were very stiff and scratchy,no ice on second floor had to go to office for ice. Coffee maker in room but no coffee. Worst service from staff that I have ever experienced.

“scary”

In a bad part of town - access to lobby and check in is through a bullet-proof glass window at night. Yikes.
