Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa is across the road from The River at Rancho Mirage entertainment complex and 11 miles from downtown Palm Springs.
Offering a mountain-view courtyard containing a 33-foot oval pool with underwater music and cushioned lounges, the 20,000-square-foot health spa offers massage and body wraps/scrubs which feature aroma essences of pure-blended, healing flowers and herbs. The spa includes women's and men's saunas, steam rooms, seven-person spa tubs, and relaxation lounges, as well as a fully equipped fitness center. Surcharges apply for use of spa and fitness facilities without treatment.
Guest parking is complimentary.

Rooms
The resort offers 444 guestrooms in 30 two-story buildings (no elevators) with red-tile roofs. Rooms include balconies or patios, reading chairs with footstools, and pay movies. Small bathrooms include vanities, makeup counters, and shower/tub combinations. Guests can park adjacent to the buildings in which their rooms are located.
Rooms have Spanish Colonial-inspired decor with furnishings and textiles in desert palettes of beige, sand, and ivory.
Wireless Internet access and local phone calls are included in the resort fee. A business service can be added, which includes unlimited local and national long-distance telephone calls (daily surcharge).
Refrigerators are available on request, based on availability (surcharge).

Dining
bluEmber - Signature restaurant designed by the renowned Puccinni Group, bluEmber showcases the region's rich harvest in a setting in a charming and elegant setting. Guests can gather at a carved wood table inside, or by a cracking firepit on the plaza. Live music every weekend evening.
R Bar - Sleek and stylish, this bar and lounge exudes a classic Rat Pack vibe. Guests can settle in with a signature martini or classic cocktail along with an enjoyable bite from the bar menu, or watch the game on one of three flat-screen TVs. Pool and shuffleboard tables are available.
Splash Grill - Part of the resort's swimming and recreation complex overlooking the 5th fairway. This sunny spot offers burgers and tropical drinks.
Palms Café - Guests can start their day with freshly brewed Starbucks gourmet coffee accompanied by a choice of house-made breakfast breads and pastries. For lunch and dinner, an array of fresh salads, signature sandwiches, kids' pails, and brick-oven pizzas are offered.
Spa Café - Located at Spa Las Palmas, this cafe offers spa cuisine and an espresso bar menu.
Recreation
Splashtopia, part of the resort's swimming and recreation complex, offers a 425-foot lazy river surrounding an island with two 100-foot water slides, an expansive beach, a spa tub, pop-jets, and a man-made mountain with a spa tub and waterfall.
The resort's country club features a 27-hole golf course designed by Ted Robinson. The course offers a rolling terrain of palm-lined fairways, secluded sand traps, lakes, and mountain vistas. Lessons and clinics can be arranged at a pro shop. To arrange golf-tee times, guests should contact the hotel directly, using the contact information on the reservation confirmation received after booking via this Web site. The country club also has a tennis center (surcharge) with 22 hard courts and three clay courts.

Spa
From a new color palette to a beautifully refurbished pool area, the Spa Las Palmas was recently renovated into a 20,000 square-foot desert oasis. Just outside, the tranquil spa courtyard offers a heated sanctuary pool and stunning mountain views. In addition to massages, guests at the spa can enjoy body scrubs, body treatments, body wraps manicures and pedicures. Along with 26 treatment rooms, the spa features a sauna and a spa tub.

“Beautiful Hotel”
I just went there for my second summer in a row, it doesn't get much better than this. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable with big beds and showers. The staff is welcoming and accomodating.I would definately go back a third time.
“Loved it!!”
Our entire family and extended family stayed here and we just loved it!! The little boys LOVED Splashtopia and could've stayed there all day. Our older boys loved the Lazy River, Water Slides and swimming in the pool. The golf course, cafe and spa services were fantastic as well. The entire property was just beautiful and extremely well maintained. The staff there were always helpful and courteous. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a true vacation get-away --- it was wonderful :D
“Definitely for kids and will go back for sure!”
The staff was very friendly. We checked in really late, they were very great about accommodating my family with our requests. I would recommend the resort for families with kids who want to have fun with their kids. I can't wait to go back!!!

A great location to great eateries , morning Starbucks . Grounds are beautiful and the Adult pool is perfect to hide from the kid water park . Inexpensive golf at the Ranch las palmas golf coarse . Great time

I am always a little weary of trusting on line reviews but I'm glad I did because this hotel was great. I had such a good time that I am definitely going to go. Although pricey, the food was great and the drinks were great as well. The staff were friendly and definitely let me know that they were there for whatever I needed. I can't wait to go there again:)
“Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa - I would live there if I could!”
This was a spur of the moment decision on a Saturday morning to go to the desert for the rest of the weekend. What a great decision! Beautiful facility, great food, fantastic amenities for our 9 year old. We will definitely be back.

“Best place to stay in Rancho Mirage”
The rooms are newly renovated. The pool area is the best part of the hotel: Splashtopia has two waterslides, a lazy river, and a large pool. Directly across the street from the hotel entrance is The River, a dining/shopping outdoor area. Restaurants include Cheesecake Factory, Yardhouse, Fleming's, PF Chang's, Baja Fresh. There is also a Starbucks, which is perfect for a quick coffee and pastry, rather than buying breakfast at the hotel.
