This California resort is one mile from the Cimarron Golf Resort, and within six miles of the Palm Springs Desert Museum and downtown Palm Springs.
The resort's 23,000 square feet of function space has complimentary wireless Internet access and includes two elegant ballrooms, conference center, various meeting rooms, and two hospitality suites. A shady veranda with a view of the golf course, as well as a 5,000-square-foot poolside patio, are available for events. Catering, conference, technology, and wedding-planning teams work on-site. The resort's self-serve business center offers two computers with high-speed Internet access and print, copy, and fax services.
A paved path leads past a golf clubhouse, tennis courts, health club, and lap pool to a fairway-side village of privately owned, fully equipped condos; each unit has access to a semi-private outdoor splash pool and spa tub.

The Doral Desert Princess Resort offers 285 guestrooms in a four-story building, and 100 privately owned one- and two-bedroom condos on adjacent, landscaped grounds. Windows open to views of the pool, golf course, and/or mountains. Decor varies. Beds include both down and hypo-allergenic pillows, and wool blankets are available by request. Multi-line phones have voice mail and high-speed Internet access (surcharge).
Dining
Fairway Grill - California cuisine served in a bright dining room or on adjacent veranda, both overlooking putting greens and mountains. Breakfast options include omelets, fruit plates, and lox and bagels. Italian-influenced lunch and dinner items include salads, steaks, pastas, and gourmet burgers. Open daily.
Divots Lounge - Casual, dimly lit sports lounge furnished with intimate tables, overstuffed chairs, and two wide-screen TVs. Specialty drinks include fruit-blended cocktails and California wines by the bottle and glass. Appetizers and a full dinner menu are available. Open late on weekends.
Cabana Bar - Walk-up bar on the 5,000-square-foot pool patio. Fruity cocktails, beer, wine, sandwiches, and light bites. On weekends and holidays, a barbecue is offered. Seasonal hours.
Recreation
The Doral Desert Princess Resort has three nine-hole golf courses, a lap pool, two spa tubs, and 10 tennis courts (lessons available, surcharge). Also, accessible by room key, is a junior fitness room equipped with treadmills, stationary bicycle, and weight machine. The tennis clubhouse features a more elaborate work-out facility (surcharge).
For a fee, guests may use the 36-hole golf course at the adjacent Cimarron Resort. The course was designed by architect John Fought. Activities such as desert hikes, guided four-wheel-drive tours, rock climbing, horseback riding, winery-hopping, hot-air ballooning, and yoga are offered within a few miles. Six miles away in Cathedral City, Boomers! is a popular family destination, featuring miniature golf, go-carts, batting cages, bumper boats, and a video arcade.

“Out of the way, but well worth it!”
Spacious, peaceful, clean, few noisy kids, golf course and mountain views, beautiful typical Palm Springs landscaping. Always a close parking place to the entrance nearest our room. And this was during Spring Break!!! Did we just get lucky?

The staff were very kind and hotel was very clean and comfortable. The view (the golf course and the pool) from the hotel room was sooo beautiful! We'll definitely come back...

My wife and I stayed here for a relaxing weekend. The hotel grounds were very, very nice. The lobby, hallways and restaurant was very nice and modern. The rooms could have used a little modern touch. Just changing the curtains and bedspread would do the trick. They do need to upgrade their mattresses - pretty hard. The staff was great and the pool was nothing super fancy, but it was very clean, confortable and relaxing. The food at the pool was great too. You'll like your stay here.

Very quiet on the September weekdays, views are nice from the rooms with great room service.
“Marvelous refreshing view of mountains”
Poolside patio room was perfect location. Stupendous view of mountains, palms, and green golf course.Maintenance staff prompt to help turn on tub tap, and vacuum dust gathered around patio door. Otherwise double room clean; average size, but adequate. Pleasant colorful bedspreads. Impressive resort entrance, lobby and large hallways. Gave relaxed vacation feeling. Enjoyed valet service. A friendly place. Would return to Doral.

An impressive resort. Very comfortable room, a beautiful view if one gets a room overlooking pool and golf course.
“Relaxing Gettaway”
This resort had great views of a golf course and mountains from the rooms. If you stay poolside on first floor you are within 20ft from the pool and bar. The staff does respond to your requests quickly.
“Peace and quiet”
The resort is partially surrounded by an extremely well manicured golf course and it was extremely quiet and restfull. The staff was well informed of current activities, pleasant and quite courteous. The pool was huge and rectangular in shape. Good for lap swimming,with an abundance of towels and lounges. The pool area also had two jacuzzis and a bar. The room was adequate in size,clean, stocked with your normal amenities and had a great view of the pool, golf course and mountains. A sunday morning newspaper for each room. The one meal we ate in their restrauant was reasonably priced,nice portions and tasty. We will return again for our next stay in Palm Springs.
