“Couldn't have been better!”

This resort rocks! It is so clean, beautiful, spacious, and high quality. The next time I am in Palm Springs, I will stay at this resort for sure.

“Perfect family getaway”

Very family friendly. My son loved the game room. Our condo faced the road and was a bit noisy at times. The tennis facility is within walking distance and friendly pros helped to arrange games for us.

“We loved this place!”

We chose this place due to close prox. to a weekend conference we were attending. After reading several negative reviews of the conference hotel, I knew I had to stay somewhere else. Desert Oasis' reviews were much more favorable. It is a lovely resort/timeshare location with clean, large 1 bedroom apartment rooms, flat panel TVs, 2 closets - one a large walk-in, comfy beds, full kitchen. The patio was nice, with comfortable lounge furn. The staff was hospitable and quick to respond to requests. One drawback is I don't think there is an on-site restaurant, but that was not a problem as the concierge was great at recommending good restaurants, including a quaint mom/pop cafe where breakfast is served all day. We loved Desert Oasis so much we wanted to stay longer!

“Very nice hotel”

Big, nice and clean rooms with very compfortable beds. Nice and quiet pools.5-7min drive to downtown Palm Springs. Reasonable rates. Will certainly stay at this place again.

“Good by me”

Good trip with 2 kids 3 and under. Wish the guests upstairs were more considerate of other people but, can't blame the hotel for that. Lots of fun in the pool, reasonably priced. We would stay there again.

“Great Family Hotel!”

I didn't go here on a family trip, but I went on a getaway with my boyfriend and we loved it! Great for families because they have an activity center. Loved the room, great layout and lots of room. Call and ask for a pool view room, much more enjoyable. Everything within 10-15 mins. Loved it, will be back again!

“Overall great value and a good time”

We really enjoyed the Desert Oasis Resort. Parking was convenient, the room had 2 VCRs and a flat screen tv, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The kids enjoyed the pool and game room. My only complaint was that the pool was very noisy, and the children in it could have used more supervision. We are looking forward to returning next summer.

“Would stay again”

This is a timeshare resort that also rents its unused units. It is not a hotel, so don't expect hotel amenities. You do, however, get a HUGE one bedroom villa with a living room and complete kitchen. The staff are very nice. The resort is kid friendly.

“Home away from home.....”

The Welk Resort Desert Oasis is in a convenient location in the heart of the Palm Springs area. The attached Cathedral Grove Golf Club provides a good golf challenge at very reasonable rates for guests. My wife only likes to play 9 holes and was charged only $25, cart included. The reception is more geared to a condo group, but able and friendly and the concierge was there really to push time share ownership than to make local arrangements. The room cleanliness was first-rate and the cleaning and grounds staff very friendly. The pool is catered by a small bar and cook-shack with daily hamburger specials and happy hour promos. We stocked the fridge from the local Von's and mostly cooked in. The kitchen had everything needed. There are BBQs available. Ask for a unit looking on the golf rather than the parking area. Need a rental car to get around. Avis had the best rate by far when we were there. Thanks Expedia.
