“Relaxing stay - didn't want to leave”
The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The pool is very relaxing, although during busy seasons, you need to get there early in the morning to get a spot, otherwise, you will be out of luck. Only two very minor complaints....the a/c in the room had limits on the temperature which was warmer than I typically sleep with, but not by much. Also, the floor in the bathroom was a bit sticky and was not cleaned during our stay. The spa is wonderful and very accomodating. I recommend visting the spa during your stay, then having lunch or dinner at the restaurant by the pool. Very luxurious without being overpriced.
“Love it and loooove the staff! will be back!”
This little gem is fabulous! Would move in if I could. The staff was so amazing and helpful. The GM is the epitome of hospitality. The restaurant is awesome and so was the food and drinks (gotta have the mojito! wicked good) I have such great memories of old Palm Springs and have not been downtown P.S. for many years. We will be back in the fall! Thanks David and Co.! You guys are FAB!
“Colony Palms Hotel was terrific !”
The staff was so accomodating and went out of their way to make it an enjoyable stay. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge , the linens on the bed were very high quality, the wall hung television and mimi bar with refrigerator was very nice.I really enjoyed the music at the pool day and evening. The grounds were beautiful and parking was convenient. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay and I will return.
“It's newly remodeled and I wish I could keep it a secret, but.... it's great!”
This is a beautiful little low-key hotel with rooms surrounding a courtyard garden with a pool and jacuzzi. The architecture is Spanish style and the interior decor has a Morrocan influence. The hotel restaurant, The Purple Palm, is excellent and has a patio and half of its bar outside overlooking the courtyard. At sunday brunch there was a really good, mellow jazz band playing by the pool. The rooms have "mini-bars" that would allow you to put on a party for 20 people with high-end liquor and gourmet snacks with a price list that is not as expensive as you would expect. The beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms are nice and the toiletries are high quality. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly. The ONLY negatives were bare painted cement floors that made our bare feet very dirty, and pillows that were super fat and bouncy (not good for belly sleepers).
“Would stay again.”
Great restored hotel. Very nice grounds, private and just steps from the strip. Very fine rooms, quiet with excellent ammenities, beds and bedding. Best of all, probably one of the finest restaurants in Palm Springs right in the hotel. Great atmoshpere and setting. Many locals. Make reservations.
“Boutique Hotel”
Adorable little hotel close to everything. The staff is amazing. Don't miss the restaurant!
“Relaxing get-away”
Colony Palms Hotel is a relaxing hotel that is near downtown and surrounded with places to eat and shop... Great stay.
“Perfect for the weekend”
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway and were very pleased with the Colony Palms. The Restaurant was wonderful and the room was simple yet very tasteful. We will definately be going back!
“Will definitely go back”
Beautiful and authentick palm springs experience
“nice weekend getaway”
My husband wanted to get away for the weekend and LOVED this hotel! It is very beautiful property with very nicely decorated clean rooms. The mini bar was stocked with a shaker & everything we needed to make martini's and drinks etc. The pool was very nice and not crowded and had a very trendy adult feel to it... which made us even more happy that we didnt stay at a bigger hotel, no screaming splashing kids. The front desk staff was extremely helpful with arranging everything for a spa day. On Sunday morning they had a 3 piece jazz band playing for brunch at the pool. So when in Palm Springs definately check this hotel out.
