Our room was surprisingly nice. The facility is fairly new and well maintained. Our room was spacious enough and very comfortable. The only thing semi-negative was that the shower could have been a little cleaner. It was not bad at all though. The location was convenient yet not on a noisy main road.
Temps inthe high 80's and in four days the room temp never got below 73 degrees. We complained and they a guy around to go through the motions. He said he was really comfortable with it, he had been outside working and 80 would have felt good. For me th the issue was that WE were not comfortable. Of course the following lip service was insulting to have to listen to. They only replace towels on wednesday? Check out is at 8:30 am which is convenient for the staff but not the guest who has an eight hour drive facing him that day. Overall we enjoyed our stay although there are NO good seafood restaurants closer than St Augustine.

The only problem was that there was a very large group of people for a birthday party the night we were there (not the hotel's fault). In the morning there were maybe 30 people at the continental breakfast. The staff was doing a good job of keeping up with things. It just turned us off to have so many people at once. The other annoying problem which was not the hotel's fault is that once every hour someone in the room above us was stomping around very loudly waking us up. Other than that, the hotel was great. Would definitely stay there again.
We were on our way elsewhere - just stayed one night in Palm Coast to visit, then off to elsewhere. Not a beach place, or if there was one nearby it was was not apparent. Still, helpful staff and a comfortable place to stay. Restaurants nearby.
We have been to this Hotel many times before and its always Excellent, (probably one of our very favorites) unfortunately I booked it and then both my husband and I got very sick (fever, lots of meds from the Dr. etc.) and were not able to keep the reservation. The room for one night was $336, which was a higher rate then we would normally spend on one night but it was going to be a treat. We were not able to change the date, unfortunately, because it was a "no refund / no change date rate." I understand the no refund but I just don't understand the no change policy. I understand if the room rate was $99, but $300+ is a lot of money to lose when we had no choice but to stay home.
