"Great location in centre of old town"
We had a good stay and certainly the accommodation is right in the heart of the old town and with stunning sea views. However getting there by car can be tricky and not for the feint hearted. Once you have dropped your baggage you then have to travel about a ten minute walk before you can park the car. Highly recommend the Black Cat restaurant in via Novembre just a few minutes walk from the accommodation

"Wonderful 😊"
If we could give it 6 we would. Francesco made us extremly welcome on arrival even though it was after midnight and he had to come and find us. We settled in to a comfortable room and the next morning discovered the magnificent views from the terrace. The whole stay was a joy with a lovely family on site, a beautiful place and of course Maria. Maria who made wonderful tasty breakfasts and brightened our mornings with her lovely smile and chatter. Thank you so much, you all made our holiday truely memorable. Ciao Bella

"Mixed bag of emotions for this hotel"
Arrived relieved to see hotel, beautiful building in somewhat dirty, run-down area (is fly-tipping not illegal in Sicily?). Employees were very welcoming & gave us a room on the ground floor with own private terrace (not bad for last minute booking). However, room smelt damp, we weren't sure if it was the noisy air-conditioning or not. Bedsheets were clean but just felt like they had come out of the wash. Bathroom every now and then smelt like a public toilet & shower handle was loose; you had to carefully turn it on. Plug sockets were loose & we had to be careful when removing electrical items. We were told the hotel was fully booked &, as we only planned to sleep there & eat on the terrace, we decided to stay (our choice). Pool was lovely; life guard so helpful & friendly as well as pool bar staff. However, we felt like we were not welcome when it came to the restaurant (an air of arrogance among the waiting staff was very off putting). Meal for two, without dessert, approx. 175 euros. We decided to eat out instead. Free shuttle to Palermo a lovely gesture, however, last bus back approx. 19.30hrs. You will need at least 20 euros for taxi fair back. We also found a local supermarket up the road (10 min walk) to buy breakfast, lunch and drinks. Saved us a fortune. Basic wifi is free for 24hrs, then you have to re-connect. We had to pay our bill the night before departure & so wifi was switched off. Why? Room not cleaned once we had paid. So, very mixed feelings.

"Most convenient good hotel in Palermo"
We stayed here for 5 nights, two of which were purchased through Expedia, the other three being part of an organized tour. The hotel has seen better days but remains quite acceptable. The most important attribute is that it is central. It is very easy to reach everywhere important in Palermo, mostly on foot or short taxi rides. While I understand that there are higher rated central hotels, this one is the only one of its class in the centre. To get a more modern hotel, you need to go quite a way from the centre, with a lot of inconvenience.

"Hard to find but worth the effort"
The staff were very accommodating. The restaurant aside from having an amazing view also served us an excellent dinner and breakfast. The only negative we have is there is very little to no parking. You must find parking on one of the very narrow and congested side streets. It is crazy so if you plan to stay take public transit or a cab.

"Nice hotel, near to everything. "
Enjoyed our time there. Yes the bathroom was small, but the staff were lovely, and the balcony was great, nice view. We could get to everything in Palermo from there. Would highly recommend this hotel.

"Nice hotel central location "
Close to bus service to Monte Pellegrino and Mondello beach, also Palermo hop on/off tour bus. Plenty of restaurants and cafés around. Symphony is not to be missed only 5 mins from hotel and opera house 'Massimo' approximately 10mins. Don't be put off by back street location, we were out every night and felt very safe. Hotel was very nice and rooms were clean. Breakfast was just fine, buffet style with bacon, eggs, toast, yoghurt, fruit and wonderful pastries with coffee served by waiter! Only negative was the bed, mattress was very hard...something the hotel should consider reviewing.

Not a bad place. We had four people in one room. One double bed and two singles, the single were to small and uncomfortable. The room had plenty of room for another double bed. The breakfast did not accommodate gluten free. I have yogurt for breakfast. The restaurant waiter was trying to up sell . He was bringing out food we didn't order all night and wanted us to pay for it.

"Amazing hotel/ resort on the seafront"
A group of us stayed here for five nights in June. It was a beautiful stylish hotel with excellent facilities. There are two large sea water pools and a smaller one for children. There is an excellent bar near the pool area. The sea is metres away and the hotel provides boat excursions and water activities e.g. Scuba diving. The hotel staff are very nice and there is a lot of entertainment and activities for guests provided daily (during day and evening) so you won't get bored!! If you want to go to Palermo you need to take the train ( or taxi) and the train station is 20 mins walk away. There aren't too many restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel but we found an excellent pizzeria 10 mins walk away, called Baja Dei Fenici. Downsides about hotel: lunch/ dinner quite pricey, loud music from nightly entertainment until midnight (you hear it less if you don't have a sea view room). But amazing hotel and would recommend it 100%!!!
