This is a budget option, so don't expect fancy decor or 5 star facilities. However, it is very well situated for a simple walk into the heart of Palermo and opposite the stop (Croci) for the airport bus, it is clean and has very friendly staff, who sorted out the things that weren't working in our room when we arrived. The room was huge with a well-stocked bathroom; there is plenty of breakfast and a supermarket a few yards away. And Palermo is a great city, so we were pleased with our choice.

The room stank of cigarettes, it was stuffy and the aircon was extremely outdated. The staff were not friendly and the photos did not match the reality. I couldn’t even stay the night, I left straight away. The shower floor was filthy! And this is not an exaggeration. I should have asked for a refund. I would not recommend staying here.

Palermo week
Quite an old hotel, decent size room and good shower but a bit tired. Cleaned everyday with fresh towels which was a bonus. Breakfast decent but nothing hot . All in all great for the price. It really stands out because of the staff, everybody really helpful and friendly.

The shower stall is just right for a 7 year old. I am 64 & 6’2” tall, it is miserably difficult to shower in such a tiny space. Also, the sink butts up against the shower. These defects are ridiculous and akin to a third world facility. On the bright side, the room is quiet, staff is helpful, room service is great, and breakfast is good. My large window allows ample breezes to enter.

Eccellente ubicazione, in pieno centro di Palermo. Personale gentilissimo, in particolar modo Giuseppe che, nella postazione bar, ha reso migliori le nostre mattine con la sua gentilezza e professionalità, servendoci sempre una deliziosa colazione. Ottimo anche il personale alla reception, sempre pronti ad aiutarci, e veramente cordiali le ragazze delle pulizie che hanno garantito un'igiene impeccabile e idonea per gli standard richiesti dall'emergenza Covid. Unico consiglio per chi, come me, ha il sonno leggero, richiedete una stanza sul retro se disponibile: si dorme da re.

Good neighborhood, clean room. Good selection at breakfast. Courteous staff. My only complaint was the hard bed and the roll away that kept folding up on my daughter.

Our room was large, comfortable and clean with enough surfaces to lay out our clothes and toiletries. The hotel has 24 hour reception and is in a quiet area with a good restaurant around the corner. The breakfast buffet is good and plentiful.

Very central to all areas of Palermo city. Restaurants withjn walkkng distance, the shopping is great. Hop on hop off bus easy accessible. Sttaff is great. No gluten free breakfast food, i brought my own. Beds are comfy.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is fantastic and there is an airport bus stop just across the the road from the hotel so we arrived very easily. The room was very pleasant and we had a good nights sleep each night.

The hotel rooms have dated furniture and facilities, but it is kept clean. The rooms also have an "old" smell to it. It didn't bother me too much and you don't notice it after a while. What made it for me was the staff. At breakfast, I asked for a hand-made Espresso and Latte, and the staff accommodated with no huffing or puffing. Overall I would recommend this hotel for the staff, location, and price!

The location is good. It is within walking distance to everything. There is parking (not free) on the streets and in a garage across the street. The room is large, the beds are comfortable. My only complaint is the lack of air conditioning. We had to open the windows and it was very loud outside. I couldn't sleep well.

The hotel is central and the airport bus stops about two minutes away. The reception staff aren't very friendly or interested in you or your stay. The cleaning staff are excellent. Breakfast was okay, especially if you like croissants. The orange juice wasn't real. You get what you pay for and there are no major negatives about this hotel.

3# hotel in city centre within walking distance of main tourist attractions; 20 mins walk to "Hop on Hop off" city tour bus start off point. 2 mins to English Garden park. 1 min walk from airport bus to hotel.

A good, clean, basic, reasonably priced hotel
The Hotel Europa is a basic, but comfortable hotel. It provides all of the essentials at very reasonable rates, and the service staff are very friendly and helpful, providing almost anything asked within reason. The hotel Europa is also wonderfully located, within walking distance of many good restaurants and shops of all price levels and almost anything you you would want to see without too much planning -- 40 meters from Via Liberta the main street throiugh the center of town and 100 meters from Piazza Politeama, the piazza where all the locals congregate and the young kids play and is also the location of the famous Teatro Massimo, and accessible to all essential transportation including only 100 meters from the bus to the airport that runs every 40 minutes. If you just want a comfortable, quiet clean hotel without all the frills, Hotel Europa is a very good choice in Palermo. Be sure to try the restaurant Le Volte (The Times) just across the street.

Nice hotel in a good location
We stayed here as a couple for a week. Easy to find hotel just off the main street in a posh area of town. The room was clean and got cleaned daily. A bit of wall paper was hanging off and there was no English TV channels and it got quite hot as I don't think the air con was working. The breakfast was ok but could do with being a bit more. The wi-fi was good and worked fine in our room which was good. The staff were great and spoke good English as well. As said location is good and about 20 min walk in to the centre of Palermo. The airport bus stops straight outside and there are other busses around to take you to various places which all stop very close. Loads of restaurants around to choose from and all good price. For the price and facilities I would stay here again.

Hard to find!
We arrived at 11pm and drove 3 hours in circles in Palermo to find our hotel! Thanks to teenagers on Scooters who took us there or we would still be driving in circles. The hotel staff made no accommodations for our 7 hour stay!
