“great for a short stay, very friendly staff”

you get what you pay for, so on the whole the rooms are cleaned daily, hotel is clean, and foods cheap and afordable, would recomend

“Very Decent hotel.”

The room was very clean. The breakfast's were one of the best we had in Sicily. Staff was helpful and polite. The only negatives I have on this hotel, is it's location, and the noise from outside. We later found out that it's the norm for accomodations in Sicily.

“Nous y retournerions”

Hôtel sans prétention mais bien tenu, sur rue très calme. Notre chambre était un peu petite mais c'était sans importance pour nous. Très bien situé, près du métro et de la gare centrale. Très grande salle pour le petit déjeuner très copieux. Self service midi et soir pour les petits budgets (20 euros boissons comprises pour deux personnes).

“Hotel correct pour le prix”

Cet hotel, pas spécialement beau, a un bon rapport qualité/prix, plutôt basique, mais bien tenu. Le service est bien.

“Off the beaten track”

Casa Marconi was very clean and well-maintained, had a convenient restaurant next door, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only caveat was that the hotel was far from a main road and a hike from the train station; not recommended for those traveling with luggage and without a car. Otherwise, good price for the value.

“Exactly as advertized”

This hotel delivers exactly what is advertized. My room had a bed, desk and a bathroom (with a cramped shower--even for European standards). The hotel is part of Palermo Univeristy and is filled with college students. The breakfast was good and the room had a television (some reviewers said there was none). The room was clean and the staff friendly and spoke English. I was in Sicily to conduct research, so was not concerned with creature comforts, but I would not recomend the hotel to a vacationer. Also, the parking garage is a few blocks away.

“Not Impressed”

to begin with there was no hot water on our first day, so we had to notify reception to call maintenance as they had no idea. Not to mention that there was only one blanket in the room and the radiator didn't work on the first night. after the hotwater had been seen to, the radiator would come on occasionally and be switched off by 10pm. so perhaps this hotel is only for summer as we practically froze.

“HOTEL SIMPLE MAIS RAPPORT QUALITE/PRIX IMBATTABLE”

Hotel qui sert aussi de pension pour les étudiants, donc clientèle jeune et sympa. Etablissement situé dans un quartier très populaire de Palerme, mais malgré tout sécurisé. A 500 mètres du Palais des Normands (Chapelle Pallatine), supermarché à 300 mètres, et bonne boulangerie/trattoria à 100 mètres. Decoration basique, mais l'essentiel y est : chambre avec SDB, télé, le tout dans un bon état de propreté. Le personnel est sympa et dispo, parle l'italien et l'anglais. Seul bémol, les chambres ne sont pas assez insonorisées...comme dans presque tous les hotels italiens ! Le petit-déjeuner est correct et varié. Conclusion : La CASA MARCONI n'est pas un palace, mais pour le prix c'est une très bonne adresse, qui conviendra au petit budget et au famille. Mondains et amateurs de luxe s'abstenir. J'y retournerai avec plaisir.

“Propre et efficace”

Hotel propre et confortable Restaurant pas cher et très pratique quand on ne veut pas chercher un resto (assez peu nombreux dans le quartier) Bien situé à coté des monuments et pas très loin de la gare!

“Un hotel correct à Palerme”

Propre, accueil sympa, confortable mais un peu cher pour ce que c'est (sauf à avoir profité d'une promo comme moi). Petit déj moyen, l'hotel est un peu excentré mais près du palais des normands, d'une liason direct avec l'aeroport et de la gare routière et férroviare. exprérience positive, mais je crois qu'on peut trouver mieux
