“Great hotel for budget-conscious travellers!”

We stayed twice at this hotel -- and although not fancy, we enjoyed it very much and feel that we got great a value. It was very convenient to services of all types -- attached to an excellent eating and shopping area, gas station, literally steps away. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful!!! About an 8 minute drive to Oxford's City Center and a couple of miles away from the "Park and Ride" if you don't want to drive in town. I would recommend this "no-frill" hotel highly!!

“Good sleep, a nice, clean place to stay”

We stayed 3 nights and we were very satisfied. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. It was quiet, we had a very good sleep. The hotel is a part of the Oxford Welcome Break, so you'll find everíthing around, petrol station, restaurants, shop and so on. You will need a car for this hotel as it is about 7 miles away from Oxford, but is has got a free parking and easy access to M40.

“Good price!”

For the price, the hotel was great...not fancy, but clean and comfortable.....plenty of hot water in the shower, too! The hotel is located at an exit off the highway, and there is a huge Starbucks/BurgerKing/mini mart right next door. The only negative was that the hotel was not convenient to the city center of Oxford. We had to take a bus back and forth.

For the price and star rating, i was not expecting much. I was very suprised to find a clean, comfortable and well situated hotel. I would definately recomend the hotel, and that you book through expedia. The online expedia price was cheaper than the hotel site or the hotel desk. Thanks.

Good value for the money at rest stop, when ambiance does not matter.

“Basic, clean accommodation”

Good, clean, basic room. I asked for the use of an electric outlet adapter to use a North American plug, and they didn't have one. Plan ahead and have your own!

“Good for a basic no-frills motorway hotel”

This is a basic motorway hotel, very near the main motorway north, but not all that close to Oxford itself. It's part of a motorway rest-stop, with a service centre next door with KFC, cafe, etc, and an over-priced petrol station. That said, there were no noise issues from traffic. My wife and I wanted a cheap place to stay, and we felt it was good value for money. There was tea/coffee making facilities with some shortbread waiting for us in the room, nice hot shower, clean towels, reasonable bed. My only complaint is that it is a fair distance from Oxford, and you wouldn't ever dream of staying in this place without your own car. The map the hotel gives on the internet makes it seem like you're just outside of Oxford, but it's a good drive through open country before you get to the outskirts of the city.

only unfavourable comment, you can hear some people walking around in the room above.However overall good place to stay outside Oxford.
