“A Comfortable Stay”
It was an out-of-the-way location that was clean, quiet -- especially right off the I-20 freeway--and very close to lots of restaurants. And since we were taking in everything at Talledega for the week, it was an ideal location to within 14 miles to the track. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat and suggest it to others if you're a race fan.
“Good for pet owners”
Hotel is older, but maintained well and clean. Price was good and they took pets. Only disappointment was the breakfast. It was terrible; not fresh, not much to offer and after looking the first morning, we never went back.

A very comfortable overnight stop...nothing fancy: beds and a clean room..well maintained. A simple motel w/clean rooms at a reasonable price

“Overnight stay”
I needed a clean room for an overnight stay and Econo Lodge delivered. The room needs updating, but for the price, it was good. The hotel is situated near the interstate and within walking or short driving distance to many nice eateries. If you need a clean, quiet room for the night for a low price, this hotel is the ticket!
“Very Friendly, Not Very Clean”
The people who worked at this location were very, very friendly and nice. However, the carpet was so dirty that my feet were covered in grime 10 minutes after I got out of the shower. The room was okay for the price, but needs some serious cleaning.
“Fine for the money”
This is a very basic motel with a good rate. The bed mattress was worn out, but otherwise the place was comfortable. And the do have breakfast. So if you're looking for a cheap place to stay that's not uncomfortable, this is good.
“quaint, business like”
very little interface with hotel staff..came late and left early. a good bargin at the price. nothing showy but a basic room that was clean and orderly...no complaints. If needed, I could have spent another night with no problem.
“It is what it is...”
Very clean hotel. Beds are as hard as a BRICK though. Right across from Wal-Mart (that was nice). Well kept property. I stayed there twice because of price and it being clean. I'd recommend.
“Not Handicap Accessible Bathroom”
Very rundown motel. Small room and bathroom. Asked for handicap, but company headquarters did not know that the Oxford location did not have proper handicap bathroom. Not recommended for senior citizens at all.
