Hôtel correct mais le petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles et le personnel n’est absolument pas à l’écoute. Ils font le strict minimum et encore..

Situation et offre
L'hôtel est un peu éloigné du centre, il n'y a pas de restaurants immédiatement aux abords de l'hôtel. Le cadre extérieur est magnifique mais les chambres pourraient être modernisées, particulièrement la robinetterie qui est difficile à manier. Le buffet de déjeuner est un peu léger pour le prix. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable mais parfois des informations différentes sont données selon à quel employé on parle, les processus pourraient être améliorés.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel légèrement à l'écart du centre-ville, et de ce fait très calme. Chambre spacieuse et bien chauffée, salle de bain également, le tout très propre. Accueil agréable, tea time au coin d'un feu de cheminée. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

parking except on the weekends pretty good, right in front of the hotel, no elevator, stairs are hard to climb (for me), friendly people at the reception, bar area is cosy, location is very convenient to go (by bus) or bike to city center

Cozy, Victorian style hotel. Room was quiet and nicely furnished with comfortable period furniture. We had dinner in the elegant restaurant two times and the food was outstanding! Staff were courteous and helpful.

It's a 10min stroll through the parks to the city centre. There are excellent pubs and restaurants right across the road. In 5mins you can get to Jericho which is full of bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The parking is great, the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are lovely and clean.

Bar meal choice poor. Placing cheapest rooms on top floor discriminatory; my husband has asthma & climbing 4 flights of stairs was not appreciated!

Ok hotel. Clean
Hotel was clean. Room was small. But ok. Bed was clean. A little hard. Room was super hot. Woke me up at night. Window opened but no radiator visible to turn down. Breakfast was good. But £2.50 extra for cappuccino was ridiculous. Shower was a dribble. And temperature was either HOT. or COLD. Resteraunt was a reason I picked here. I booked a table. When I came down it was closed and I had a table in the bar. I was the only one eating. Food was nice. But no way it was cooked fresh just for me. The desert had a choux pastry. Was stale and cold. Clearly had been in the fridge. Don’t serve it if your not going to it fresh, but are going to trade of your AA rosette. Plugs in room were hard to access and none by the bed. Just a minor annoyance. Close to bus stop and close to town. I’d probably stay again. But it was an average hotel. Decor a bit dated and could do with a refresh.

I will definitely book this Hotel again. We were met with a friendly welcome checking in and out. We had the Pembroke room which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The Hotel is walking distance to the centre of Oxford.

We chose this place to stay because of its proximity to Oxford and open car park. While it was pretty nice it suffered from a lack of updates that should have been considered for a $220 room. The tub had a strange folding door that didn't really work right and when opened all the way made a horrendous noise. The power outlets looked like they were from the 80s. The TV did not get almost any channels and was from a good 15 years ago. The queen bed was on a box spring that was too short and the room overall was surprisingly small. It wasn't a bad place but it wasn't particularly great either.

Quiet, relaxing place to stay close to city centre. The bed and bedding was high quality and comfy. The courtyard room was warm with a good power shower. Wide choice of breakfast options which was great value for money. We plan on returning often.
