Great stay as always

Have stayed here many times. Usually in the off season when pricing is reasonable. Hotel has fantastic hot tub and lobby bar. Regular season I believe it's a little over priced. However, that's Blue Mountain the only game in town. Would recommend for sure.

Hotel rooms were not cleaned properly

Posted 30-Mar-2015
Pros: The staff is friendly.
Cons: Cleanliness.
I stayed here once a few years ago and had a positive experience, so was really disappointed by my most recent experience there. When I checked into my room, I quickly noticed some bunched-up kleenex in plain sight in the middle of the floor. Also, the bed appeared a little messy. I contacted the front desk and they were really great about immediately upgrading me to another suite. This unit seemed fine, until the next morning when I went to take a shower and I discovered it was completely filthy. And I'm not being finicky here - there was a very visible mess of dirt and hair on the floor that had not been cleaned. I skipped my shower and went down and told the front desk. This time, they seemed less apologetic (although they waived my wi-fi fee). One instance would have been enough to put me off, but to have it happen in both rooms was very unsettling. I can't imagine I will ever return to this hotel or recommend it to anyone.

hotel close to everything that BlueMountain offer

Posted 30-Mar-2015
It was close to everything. We had a room with a great view of everything, Blue Mountain, open-air hot swimmin pool and the frozen Pond... The room had everything we needed, clean and neat. Everybody working had great smiles on their faces, ready to help for every occasion.

Awesome location right in the village.

Great location. Staff were amazing. The heated outdoor pool was a hit with the kids. Steps to the lifts and ticket wicket.

Ok hotel

They tried to accomodate as best as possible (early check in). However a fore alarm occured at night on the one time we stay there. Safety protocol was necessary but they took very little responsibility. I suppose its luck of the draw....

overall - great - couple of warts....

loved everything but the breakfast in the room cost over $80 for two and it was horrible... also, the $15 to park your car when you are up in the woods paying $300 for a room is just annoying

Ski Weekend at Blue Mountain

Posted 13-Mar-2015
Pros: Convenient location to the hill and village including storage lockers for our skis and boots. Also the great heated pool and hot tub after skiing
Cons: We lost a mans wallet on the trip. If the hotel had a proper working safe in the room we would have been able to keep it there instead of in a pocket.
Location: Once we parked we did not have to drive anywhere. Located at the base of the hill and in the heart of the village, you can walk everywhere.
We had a three day escape to Collingwood. The plan was to ski, skate, relax and enjoy a very comfortable hotel and village experience. We got all of that. Not only were the conditions great - having the convenience of staying so close to the hill and having access to an outdoor heated pool and hot tub in the middle of the winter is a unique experience.

Best staff & standard rooms, awesome facilities!

Posted 11-Mar-2015
Checked in late, but check in was quick and received complimentary valet parking due to some issues with the garage door. Stayed in a Deluxe room, equipped with a large bathroom (full bathtub and many showerhead combos), mini kitchenette (filled with clean cutlery) and the perfect sized fridge! Heavenly beds were just that. Would definitely recommend and stay again (if it's in the budget - a little higher end compared to most village hotels)..trying to come for my birthday again in two weeks!!
