“Stay with your pet at the beach!”

Good, we have stayed at the Travelodge on other occasions with our dogs and you can't beat the price and with breakfast. Yum, Krispy Kreme donuts!

My boyfriend and I have stayed at the Travelodge 3 times in the last year, and it's the only hotel we'll stay at when we're at the Outer Banks. It's affordable, it's clean, and a public beach access is right across the road. Best of all, we can have the dogs with us, which is nice.

We enjoyed are stay and would stay their again. We will probably go back next year for bike week and stay. Everyone at the hotel was pleasant and helpful

“Our New Favorite OBX Hotel”

We were extremely happy with the quality of not only our room, but the entire property. Although it is pet-friendly, the grounds were clean and the noise at a minimum. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

“Very good bargain and not a bad hotel!”

My husband & I stayed here for a week in late May. We really enjoyed our stay & really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The people at the desk were always friendly & helpful whenever we had a question about finding things etc. Our room was more than adequate for just 2 people who didnt spend much time in the room anyhow. The fridge & microwave were good bonuses & we stayed poolside where we had a very nice balcony & poolview as well as a good look at the Wright Brothers Memorial at night. I rated comfort a 4 because the beds were not much to speak of. I dont have trouble sleeping at all & that held true for this trip, however, just to relax on the beds were a little stiff. I gave cleanliness a 4 because one night the bed felt very sandy....however I am not sure I can attribute that to the hotel or possibly just to my husband. The beach access was very convenient and many mornings we would eat and then walk out to the beach before starting for the day. Because I have experienced several continental breakfasts myself I will say what theirs consisted of & I would grade it adequate but you may judge for yourself: apple/orange juice, coffee, tea, cocoa, milk, oatmeal, grits, bagels, toast, donuts, fruit(some days), & 2 types of cereal. Overall, we really did enjoy our stay & would stay there again if just the two of us went together. Oh-one minus was no high speed internet, there was dial up in the lobby for public use, but, it was not quite adequate for our normal net needs.

Luxurious beds - my kids didn't want to check out. Convenient walk to the beach.

The staff was extremely pleasant, the rooms were very clean, and the view from both our rooms were great!! we got to experience an intense thunderstorm right from our beds.
