“Loved the view”

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view was spectacular. Look to the right was the ocean and to the left the shining Wright Memorial. I would stay there again.

“It was just fine”

there are only 12 true ocean view rooms that have balconies facing the ocean. the rest are all on the side with no balconies so do not expect the view. other than that the rooms were clean, shower great, beds comfy and ice machine working! also WIFI available and 2 computers in lobby.Pool was OK. would have been nice to see the ocean from the pool but a huge fence blocked the view. two showers to clean off from the ocean/sand. location right at wright brothers memorial.nice complimentary breakfast. good value. “Jump Start to our 4th of July”

Room was in order and parking was available. Great Beach access and decent breakfast in the morning, although I would have liked some more protein options, beyond the boiled eggs. Location is very central to lots of restaurants on the Outer Banks. The flying Fish was the best, although a bit pricey.

“Pleasantly surprised”

The hotel was better than I expected. Everything was clean. The hotel employees were nice and helpful and the room was well stocked with towels. The only complaint I had was the cleaning service person did not come to clean the room until 3:00 pm and by that time I was ready for a shower after a long day at the beach.

“Good Vacation”

This is a good decent hotel. We stayed on the third floor and all was quiet. We had a good time. The complimentary continental breakfast was impressive. I'm glad this hotel lived up to most of its reviews. I think most of the people who gave it bad reviews were overly picky. Everything was clean and it was near the beach. I would suggest that you tell them not to put you on the first floor because that's where all the families with kids stay. And I'm glad this hotel didn't allow pets and had free wifi.

“GREAT access to the beach!!”

The hotel itself was average. Some rooms were updated, however ours was not. It did offer free breakfast that was very good. Many of the staff members were very nice and they did a good job of cleaning the rooms daily. The access to the beach was a simple walk across the boardwalk - and that's what we wanted. The hotel was also in a great location.

“Perfect Beach Getaway”

I was surprised when I saw the hotel because it only had 2.5 stars on expedia. It was clean, staff courteous, and perfectly located right on the beach. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, a nice lobby with internet, and a path right onto the beach. From our balcony we could see the Wright Memorial and the Ocean. I don't know what others were anticipating, but We thought it was great. JLE

The staff there was really nice and give us detail explaination of outer banks area. The room is also big and the bed is super comfortable. The only thing that can be improved is the tevelation, not so good pic quality but still fair.
