“Great Deal in great location”

The rooms are spacious and clean, though a bit old and worn. The hotel is in a GREAT spot on beach road. Walk from your room, to the pool, to the beach. The stop in shop is across the street where you can buy any food/drinks/souvenirs you desire. And you can walk to Goombays for seafood. Short drive to some of the best restaurants, mini-golf and shopping at the OBX. If you're not renting a house, this is a great place to book for couple or two couples sharing a getaway.

Very pleasant stay. The breakfast was great! Will be staying there again next visit to the outer banks.

“Pleasant Stay”

We enjoyed our stay very much. Enough bang for your buck. The hotel is a bit dated but that is pretty much the norm in the Outer Banks. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The full kitchen was put to good use. The staff members were very friendly and the location cannot be beat; right on the beach. The breakfast was simple but ample. Would definitely recommend an oceanfront room. We will stay here again.

“Great Stay”

Large, comfortable suite with a kitchen that comes complete with pans, dishes, silverware, etc. All rooms (except 1st floor) with great ocean view. Will stay again.

“Loving it!!”

After reading other reviews on this hotel, I decided to give it a shot. Not only is this hotel in a great location, all rooms are suites, and right on the beach. Every room has a balcony or patio. There are five floors and even the upper floors pool side have a view of the ocean. The pool and hot tub are well taken care of, and every staff member we came in contact with were very helpful. We had decided to stay an extra day and they did everything they could to keep us in our room. This is an older hotel, but is well maintained. I noticed that there were not many children and more older adults at the time when we were there. Loved the privacy! We didn't get the chance to do the continental breakfast, but the coffee maker in the room is great! We brought our own coffee and filters. We have tried quite a few hotels in this area over the years and this is the best one yet! We will be back!!

“Suite on the cheap”

Nice suite, heat went out during the night, they offered to us to another suite, not uncomfortable enough to move.

“Nice chioce for OBX hotel”

Older hotel, but well maintained. Not many hotel choices in the Outer Banks, so I'd definately return for another short stay. We had a ground floor poolside room which was great for our 4 year old, she also loved the Murphy bed!

“Would stay here again”

Enjoyed staying here. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were neat and clean. I would recommend you skipping the continental breakfast, as it left alot to be desired. Other than that, was definitely satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
