“Simple nice hotel with great price”

Clean simple rooms with free continental breakfast. Great place to stay if you are looking for something inexpensive and a clean place to sleep.

A little out of the way, but not hard to find. Fast food paradise about 1.5 miles away. Got the room for VERY reasonable, probably the cheapest I ahve ever paid for a room. Clean is my biggest issue. Check in and out was a breeze. Not a big fancy lobby, but did have a moderate eating area. Got my room. Room was in general clean. Bedding was a bit worn, but clean. Did NOT have Egyptian Cotton 600 thread count sheets, but they were clean. Matress and pillows were comfortable, nothing exciting. Bathroom was clean. Towels were not the big deluxe towels you get at the fancy joints, but did the job and were clean. They only offered shampoo and soap. Wasn't crazy about either. Woudl recommend bringing your own with you. Shower water pressure and temp was good. Breakfast the next morning was pretty basic, but you could find something to fill you. I had toast, juice and fruit. They did offer Belgin Waffels, but I passed.

Had my room ready when I walked in and no standing and waiting to get checked in. Provided type of room requested. Easy to check out.

Do not like nonsmoking room in hall of smokers where hallway was strongly smelling of smoke. Furniture too big and room crowded. Furniture raw and not sanded with rough edges that caught on clothes. Not easy to walk into room- space too tight from entry past desk to get into bedroom area.

Very nice staff, they were great. As expected for price range, room was comfortable.

“slamming doors”

Unfortunately there were 2 college basketball teams staying the same night as us. The room doors are set to slam shut unless the person makes an effort to close the door carefully. We were treated to the sound of slamming doors until 2:00 a.m. It was also very difficult to find the hotel because the sign was only visible when approaching from the south. It was a disappointing stay. Glad we didn't pay a premium price.
