4 days in Ottawa for the first time with exceptional hotel...walking distance to Spark st; Byward market; Parliament buildings..Spacious rooms, full amentities, would have preferred King bed...pool was alittle cool for my liking, however spa tub made up for it. Hotel parking less than $5.00 daily. Definetly would stay there next time.

“Surprisingly good hotel”

It is not at the city center, so I have to walk half an hour to reach Bayward market. Otherwise, this is a lovely hotel, very comfortable, and since at the time of my booking, there was 30% off, this is much more interesting. I like it very muh and would likely going back. The kitchen is very well stocked.

“It's Not A Room It's An Apartment”

This hotel is GREAT. Although it is advertised as a suite hotel, it is in fact much more. The room is not really a suite it is a full apartment, living room, dining room, full kitchen even a laundry room, that's right, a room with a washer and dryer. If I knew that I would of brought my dirty laundry from home. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots etc etc even a corkscrew. You felt like you were living in the city not just staying in a hotel. This is the first time I stayed at a Minto Suite. I will now be looking for them where ever I go. Oh, and did I mention they are GREAT??

This hotel is an excellent location in downtown Ottawa. I bedroom suite very clean - great mini kitchen. Easy walking distance to everything. Overall a very good choice and would recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at the Minto Aug 6-10,2009. Staff at the Hotel were outstanding in the Service they provided. Very polite and courteous. Hotel room was very comfortable and clean. Swimming pool was excellent. Staff at the pool were very friendly and helpful. Location of Hotel was great...close to all the sites. We would definitely stay at this Hotel again.

“Good place for tulip festival”

My wife and I came to Ottawa to see the Tulip Festival. The hotel was close to Parliment Park, which was the major headquarters, and the canel, which was a nice long walk by many tulip beds. The hotel has excellent exercise centers and good take-out stores. The major restaurant, "300," was too expensive for our taste. Overall, our visit was excellent.

“Great place to stay”

Plenty of room - not like the normal hotel room. The glass skyscaper view out the living room window was and extra plus. The bathroom was well layed out with European tile design and large. We took advantage of the kitchen and seperate dining room for entertaining our family. Very cozy place with ample kitchen ware and new furniture. We really like this clean, quite hotel suite.
