Nice hotel right close to many attractionsPosted 12-Nov-2013
Pros: Staff was very friendly and professional. The location is great.
Cons: I did not realized I had to pay extra for parking. I found 15$ a little high for one night.
Location: The Museum of Civilizations is right accross from the hotel and on a nice day you can walk across the bridge and be in Ottawa close to many museums.
I stayed only one night and was pleased with the room, it was very clean and comfortable. I used the exercise room, it's small, but the cardio machines worked well.

Okay Stay.Posted 31-Oct-2013
Pros: Bed linens, location
Cons: Include breakfast and parking to the room rate for better value. This hotel would have been too expensive for us had our whole family of five stayed.
We were visting Ottawa to tour Carleton and the U of Ottawa. We chose it for its location; close to the city centre and because it was between both university campuses. The location is a good launch point for university tours as well as to tour the capital with many attractions within walking distance. The beds were very comfy with luxurious down comforters and crisp, white sheets. I recognized right away that the bed linens were blessedly devoid of the "institutional smell" often associated with hotel sheets. The hotel restaurant serves a decent $15 buffet breakfast. The hotel parking is also $15 and was valid until 5:00 pm the next day. The lot also allowed in and out privileges. I inquired about the availability of the pool and was disappointed to hear that it would not open until 1:00 pm on the day of our check-out.

Canadian MintPosted 5-Oct-2013
Pros: The bed was super comfy!
Cons: Better pillows to match the comfort of the bed!
Location: You can visit the Canadian mint or eat at some the best pubs in Canada!
The hotel was close to the boutique shops and restaurants as well as some key Government buildings. A 20 minute walk and the fun begins.

Excellent location. 15min walk to OttawaPosted 25-Sep-2013
Walking distance to all sites. Ottawa, Byward Market, Rideau Center, Parliament Hill and Museums. Beds weren't as comfy as expected.

Only complaint that I had was that the clock in our room displayed the incorrect time. We rushed to get ready for a wedding we were going to and when we got there found out that we were 45 minutes early. Better early than late, but still slightly inconvenient considering how much we rushed.

Nothing bad to sayPosted 5-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
Usually I write reviews only if there was something wrong. Quite the contrary. Not only was it really affordable, the room was very clean, updated, beds were comfy, and all the staff was super friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

The Four Points is in a great location.Posted 3-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
The Four Points is located right across the river from the downtown areas of Ottawa. All it took was a nice walk across the bridge and you were in an area where all the great restaurants, shopping and The Parliament Building were located. Right across the street from the motel is the Canadian Museum of Civilization .
