“Excellent deal”

For the price, the suite I received was amazing! It felt more like an apartment rather than a basic hotel room. Newly renovated space with full kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and an outside terrace. While the hotel looks kind of outdated on the outside and the lobby has seen better days, it is well worth it to stay here. Also, it is close to everything within walking distance that you could want to do in downtown Ottawa.

Very good location and well appointed rooms with kitchenette. Friendly service-even the elevator maintenance man was enthusiastic! Great little cafe-had an excelllent low cost breakfast-western omellette was first class! Definitley go there again!

Not the best hotel i have been, a little less than what i expected. its an old building. if you want to just spend the night, it not that bad.

“Canada Day in Ottawa”

Check-in was easy. The hotel is just a couple of blocks to Parliament hill, Byward Market, and the Rideau Canal' The room was very clean and had all the utensils. The only downside was parking. The garage was full but on street parking was free after 5:30 and the holiday and weekend were free so it only cost us $2. Breakfast was good in "the Nook" and reasonable. This was our second stay there and stay there again.

EXCELLENT LOCATION FOR SIGHTSEEING.COURTEOUS STAFF AT FRONT DESK.HOT WATER WAS PERHAPS A BIT TOO HOT FOR HYGIENIC PURPOSES. OTHERWISE WELL FURNISHED. ( SURPRISSED TO FIND THE CONFORT OF HOME AS FAR AS APPLIANCES GOES.

“Good value”

The hotel is in a good location to everything in the downtown area. We've stayed at several hotels along Cooper St. in this area, and the Embassy is probably the best value among the 4 in the immediate area.

“Relativement vieux, propre et bien situé”

L'hôtel est plutôt vieux et son apparence mériterait d'être rafraîchit. Il est toutefois d'une propreté impeccable. Lit confortable. Cuisinette hyper-pratique avec vaisselle comprise (encore un fois très propre). Il y a une grande porte patio et un balcon dans la chambre. Sa localisation est parfaite. Je le recommandes sans aucune retenue à ceux et celle qui sont des fervents de la commodité. Pour ceux et celles qui rêve d'une chambre paradisiaque, luxueuse et super glamour (comme dans les films), cet hôtel n'est pas pour vous.
