“A great hotel close to downtown Ottawa”
We had a great stay at Chateau Cartier. The room was fantastic (1 king bedroom suite- we got a great rate from Expedia) and we really enjoyed the Gym. The only downside was the renovations going on that blocked the view from the Gym to the Golf course.
“Top of my list for next trip in Ottawa-Gatineau region”
I expected a high standard and I got it. They could do more regarding currency exchange to accommodate travelers who arrive on weekends. Otherwise, great place to stay when visiting the Ottawa-Gatineau region. One of the top five places to stay in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.
“Chateau Cartier Hotel (" My Family Loved the 2 day experience.)”
Family from out of town stayed at the Chateau Cartier in Oct 2009 for a wedding. We booked 2 suites. and both families loved the hotel. It was very clean, decorated nicely, and the beds were comfortable. Newly renovated the rooms were very classy . The restaurant in the hotel was clean and comfortable. Very reasonable prices also. Everyone raved about the hotel and their stay there. I would certainly put up other guest from out of town there again. Overall we were very satisfied completely with all the accomadations at the Chateau Cartier.
“Nice place to stay to visit Ottawa”
The best rooms in the hotel certainly live up to the billing. Very nice and quiet location but only 10-15 minutes away from downtown Ottawa. Only gripe would be the swimming pool could be heated, but that's being picky.
“The Chateau Cartier”
For the price we paid, a truly wonderful place to stay. About 10 minutes from all the sights around Parliament Hill in Ottawa. The restaurant is great, the bar has about 8 different kinds of ice cold beer on tap, and the bar service is lightening quick. We're already planning a trip back later this summer. The hotel is located near to the system of paved bike paths that run all around the Rideau River and thru Ottawa. Great place, great food, great staff, great value. You'll love it.

Very friendly front desk staff, awsome breakfast, very very comfortable bed. extremely satisfing stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Peaceful stay”
A wonderful place to stay. Convenient location for Ottawa and Laurentians. Also next to Gatineau Park. Our room had French doors separating bedroom from living area.The room was very quiet.
“Jewel of Ottawa / Gatineau”
A superb hotel, under-rated in every respect, and extremely reasonably priced. The rooms are extraordinary and spacious, and the facilities incomparable. The restaurant is extremely good; a nice setting, with wonderful food and large assortment of good beverages, all at unbelievably low prices. The sports facilities could not be better, with a golf course, pool, spas and so on. An unbelievably low priced, super appointed facility. And located near absolutely everything, including the bike trails, etc.
