“My favorite hotel in Ottawa”

This is a fine hotel! The service is wonderful, they are flexible on check-in and check-out for special circumstances, and very reasonable cost. My only complaint is that they do not have internet access as part of the hotel stay. They need to acquire wireless access and it needs to be included as part of the cost. This is a standard feature at most upper scale hotels.

“Good place to stay”

The facilities are a bit dated, but the rooms were clean and the building well-maintained. The TV was an older CRT model with a fairly small screen but worked well otherwise. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good place to stay at a very good price point. The front desk staff were excellent.

“Great place to stay!”

From start to finish, our stay was everything we could hope for. The hotel is centrally located ... only 5 blocks from Parliament Hill. Secure underground parking was extra, but at the price for the suite that shouldn't be an issue. The fully equipped kitchen was great ... pots, pans, cutlery, dishes and even a dishwasher :) A great way to save money and my grandson loved cooking breakfast:) Staff were very courteousand helpful. I'd recommend it in a minute.

“Great place for families”

Families will appreciate the amenities of this hotel, including the pull out beds, the kitchen and the separate sleeping spaces. It's an older hotel, but has everything families need. It's clean, and it's close to everything including restaurants and a pharmacy. Parking is an extra charge, and the parking lot is definitely not meant for larger vehicles! The front desk staff are helpful and friendly, and even offered to let us leave our car parked for the day after we'd checked out. Overall, great value, great location.

“Great Room Great people who work there very friendly”

They hotel was very nice we wanted to spend a extra night there because we liked it so much but desided not to. We also needed some help with some things and the front desk people were very helpful with us. We didnt however have internet in our room we had to pay for it but didnt matter. They also upsized are room which was very nice. Our room had a full size kitchen in it was very nice and fully stocked with cooking matterials and glasses. The only problem we had was the one night there was blasting music comming from one of the rooms so we called front desk and they took care of it right away music was off within 3-5minutes was very nice. Then first thing in the morning some parents had there kids in the hallway leaving and the kids were screaming was not nice, and woke us up and others 5minutes later they finally got on the elevator and left. There was nothing obiously the hotel could do about that.

“Excellent Location”

This hotel was easy to find and in the heart of downtown. Lots of fabulous restaurants on Elgin Street. You can walk to the Parliament Buildings and the Rideau Canal is right around the corner. The staff were friendly and helpful - the restaurant at the hotel was excellent!

“Clean, Comfortable and Conveinient location”

Hotel is in a very convenient spot. Close to Shopping, Elgin St.,Parliament, Byward Market and short distances to all other attractions in the area (Canadian Mint, Many Museums. Room was clean, all amenities you could ask for (kitchenette in this case) Pool was also well cared for. Wether you a family, on business or just getting away. This is an excellent choice.

“Fantastic Value”

This hotel has great value. Unit was spacious, well-equiped, and ideally locaated for meetings downtown. Reception staff excellent. Though units were a bit tired (e.g., drain plug in tub didn't work, pull-out couch wouldn't open properly),the overall value compensated more than enough.
