“Nice stay in Fredrikstad”

Got their on a stormy night after a long drive and was warmly greeted. Given good advice about where to park to save money. Very convent parking under hotel or cheaper just around the corner (in side of mountain). Spent the night in the lounge (it was raining super hard outside) and received super service, above and beyond. Nice bar area, cosy chairs, with a large fire place that spans 20 or so feet. Got busy later in the evening with I imagine locals. Modern, room fine. Only one night, but nice stay.
