“Super central, nice older hotel”

The bed was comfortable, everything was clean. There was a refrigerator in the room. It wasn't as fancy as you would expect for the price in an American context, but for a Norwegian hotel it was quite comfortable. Plus, it's always fun to stay somewhere Ibsen stayed! And the breakfast buffet was spectacular by Norwegian standards.

“Grand Hotel, Oslo”

As its name, the hotel is just "grand". We booked it through Expedia for what I thought was a bargain price and it was worth every penny and more.

This is an example of a grand old hotel that has been well kept. In fact, Gwen Stefani stayed there at the same time as me. The room was large, service very good and also in the center of the city activty.

We had a very good rate with Expedia for a superior room.Our room was outstanding, high ceiling with very large sitting area. We travelled with our 13yo teen, and they added foldable bed. No view which added to privacy and tranquility. The Grand Cafe is a great place with historical mentions where a great breakfast is served. Highly recommend it.

“An old master in a great location”

Lovely old hotel where Ibsen dined. Located in the heart of things in Oslo and easy walking distance to just about everything. We had a standard room which wasn't luxurious but reasonable in this expensive city and it was nice to be surrounded by the heart of Oslo and the history. Great breakfast!
