Not luxurious but a decent stayPosted 31-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is practical if you want a clean, quiet no frills, place to stay.My suite had 2 bedrooms, 3pc bathroom an kitchenette with fridge, microwave and sink. I was on the ground floor and after reading some earlier reviews about noisy corridors due to students I was initially concerned when the only available rooms were on the ground floor. My 3 night stay was not disturbed by any noise and was peaceful. If you end up on the ground floor, ask for the very back of the corridor away from the elevator traffic which is what I think did the trick. Continental breakfast consisted of bagels with toppings of your choice, muffins, fruit and cereal. If you are looking for a hot table, its only available to large groups that pre-book. Tip: when you first get there, park right in front (in the circle), they will give you a parking pass and proper parking instructions when you check in. Others said its hard to find, do yourself a favour and type in 32 commencement drive in google maps satellite view so you know exactly how to get there once in the complex. First timers will probably get frustrated trying to find it without doing any homework. I would stay there again.

Great place if you just want to sleep! Good pricePosted 31-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
Hard to find even with GPS. Didn't know it was actually a dorm room. Plenty of space, nice and clean. We had 2 bedrooms with double beds, a small fridge and microwave. TV and 2 small chairs. Sitting room with tv was small but clean. Great for the price and the breakfast was ample!

Good family stayPosted 28-Aug-2013
Cons: customer service could be improved. I had to ask about the continental breakfast and the parking. That information should be automated information
When traveling with kid's and looking savings thus place is perfect. It was like being in a small 2 bedroom apartment. Having a room separate from the kids was a bonus The continental breakfast was okay, nothing great but saved us from purchasing breakfast. Having a kitchenette allowed us to keep snacks and cold drinks on hand. The cost was very reasonable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cosy, cost saving place. Just don't expect first class service from the staff.

Great place for the price!Posted 28-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
Only downfall I had was with the complimetry breakfast. I was told that I needed to be responsible for all cleaning and crumbs on my table because they didnt have the time or the staff to deal with it but the visiting group of people on a your got to have their mess taken care of no problems. It's not that we left a mess either maybe some crumbs from my daughter I found this extremely rude

Comfortable get awayPosted 26-Aug-2013
Pros: 2 bedroom great Excellent value Breakfast
Cons: Signage to find check-in
Location: Quiet section just off Taunton Rd lots of shopping minutes away.
Would stay again. 2 Bedroom is great. ONLY PROBLEM is that it is confusing to find the check-in office. Need signage. Fridge and microwave was good and wired internet or wireless in the lobby. Great breakfast.

It's a dorm, not a hotelPosted 24-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
Although the room was reasonably clean, the bottom line is this is a college dormitory (Durham College in Oshawa), and should not be promoted or advertised as a hotel. There were a few summer camps going on, so most of the other "guests" were students, not surprisingly. The rates were only a bit less than a standard hotel, and we didn't even have WiFi in the room. A kitchen is included, but no dining area, within the dorm room. Only recommended if you have business at Durham College, and are in your teens or 20's!

Not exactly the usual motel/hotel experiencePosted 21-Aug-2013
Pros: Room was very quiet, spacious and comfortable.
Cons: Cleanliness was a bit lacking. For example, hairs on the pillows, making us wonder if the pillowcases had been changed since the last guest.
Location: We were only passing thru, so do not know about things to do nearby.
Arrived very late in day and had no problems getting checked in. This is apparently a college dormitory, so when we first pulled up we were a bit confused as to whether we were at our "motel" and where we were supposed to park. The place was teeming with mostly young college-age people, who were making so much noise that the gentleman at the front desk and I could barely talk loud enough to hear each other. We were assigned a room on the 5th floor, which was by contrast very quiet. The room was also very comfortable and uncommonly spacious, with two separate bedrooms.
