"Luxurious hotel in Nambar station."
For us this was our second stay. Very luxurious, a good place to recharge yourself during a busy holiday schedule. Well situated within station complex. Lovely room and great bed. Our room view at night was also impressive.

"Basic, large hotel in great location for subway."
The APA hotel was overall a good experience. On arrival the staff weren't as friendly as the other places we have been but I wouldn't consider that a huge issue really. The room was small as per in Japan but the bed/pillow combo was not ideal! Hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were partially beans/stuffing? I guess if you are used to that it would be okay. I didn't use the spa facilities but they seemed popular so I assune they were good!. We had a good view of the city as well which was cool and the bath was deep and bathroom was well layed out. The best thing was that when you walk out the door you basically walk into the enterance for the higobashi subway station- 3 stops (180yen) away from Namba (dotonbori/running man/shopping/nightlife etc) so that was awesome. If you are looking for luxury I would reccomend one of the more expensive rooms or a hotel more directed at guest experiences etc. This one has a bit of a business feel to it! Good hotel if you are looking for a good location and reasonable price but aren't overly concerned about confort and service!

"Luxurious."
Myself and my partner stayed for 3 nights. It was absolutely breath taking, could not recommend enough. We didn't use the bar facilities nor the breakfast as it was far too pricey. $11(AUD) for a can of coke!!! There is a family mart and Starbucks across the road so you're sorted in that aspect!! Would recommend and stay again!!!

"Nice hotel adjacent to JRailway and OCAT"
We had a wonderful vacation in Osaka! Part of this is because of the excellent location of Monterey grasmere hotel! Aside from the convenience of having the JR and OCAT adjacent to the hotel, there are also a lot of restaurants and shops at the OCAT mall. There is also a big supermarket and pharmacy in the basement. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30pm and we were able to buy sushi and rice toppings to go from the supermarket. They even have microwave ovens! The breakfast buffet was great, the rooms were always spic and span and with very good bathroom and toilet amenities. We highly recommend this hotel and we'll surely stay here when we go back to Osaka!
