Very close to the main shopping areas of namba. Easy walk from the subway despite our many bags. Very friendly staff. Room reasonable size with small bathroom including shower. Kettle in room, would have been nice to have access to a microwave but very close to alot of eateries. Room was clean with 3 decent sized beds but was cold so used the extra blankets available. Overall pleased with our booking

Staff were nice but hotel and room (mine was 408) need help. It's obviously an old property that hasn't been upgraded in a long time. Elevator and lobby smelled like cigarettes, carpet was sticky and linens were destroyed.

My Second Stay
This hotel is affordable and the best part is the location. It is convenient to Nankai Express train station to and from the KIX airport. Kuromon Market is also just steps away. Yes, the furnitures and style is older than other hotels. But the room is clean and service is good. House service left us clean towels at our door when we forgot to remove the do not disturb sign from the door. The bathroom is small, but it has every thing you need. House service is thorough in cleaning as they found the little cap that I dropped and I didn’t see where it went. Yes, breakfast is simple but sufficient to get us start the day and still have room to taste the many yummy foods all around us. Staff at front desk always greets us with a smile. I’d stay in this hotel again when I come to Osaka.

Super convenient location near Namba Station. Small rooms but that’s expected in a Japanese business hotel. If you’re over 5’10 youcan forget it. lol. Alcohol vending machine is a plus. Perfect for a solo guest. Beds could be a bit more comfy.

Very good hotel This was my 5 times staying at this hotel. I love the location which is just a few minutes walk from the train station from the Kansai International Airport. There are many restaurants and convenient stores nearby. The staff is always great. The hotel is getting a bit old. There were spots and stains on the wall and floor. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was old but clean and functional. I did not try the free breakfast this time. I will go back again. The hotel is very good for the price.

Too old modern style hotel, for smokers only
Especially staying at Osaka on Saturday night, it’s very hard to get a hotel room. But this hotel is often not busy because the room is foggy smell and many equipments are broken or too old. Therefore if you wanna have a good memories at Osaka, I don’t recommend you get this hotel because you should be sad at there.

Nice hotel in a very convenient location
This hotel is a typical Japanese business hotel. Nevertheless, it is nice and clean with good facilities. The reception staff have limited English but they were friendly and helpful and I even had a good laugh with them when my Japanese went wrong! The location of the hotel is excellent. As someone who know's Osaka very well, I don't think there could be a more central location (unless you stayed in Umeda, but that can be very pricey indeed!). Nankai Namba station, Kintetsu/Hanshin Namba station and the subway Midosuji, Sennichimae and Yotsubashi lines are very close by. The hotel is right next to Namba Shotengai and Den Den Town which is great for geeks like myself.

The location is good coz it’s close to Namba station and there are lots of restaurants around the hotel. The room was very small and a bit shabby but it was OK as we stayed only one night. The staffs at the reception are all friendly and helpful.

Strategic Location i.e. walking distance to Namba Station, Don Quijote Namba, BIC Camera Namba, Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi.Very good place if you are interested in restaurants and nightlife. Safe and quiet area since it is located on side street. Front Desk staff are friendly and can communicate in English. Quick check in and check out procedures. Room is tidy and clean. However, the room is extremely small, difficult to open the suitcase and pray. The room facilities are old and outdated despite that they are functional. No iron in the room.

Old Hotel but with Friendly Staff
Room conditions was not that good. The base of toilet bowl was leaking water out onto the toilet floor, so the toilet was consistently wet. At night, room was cold even when air conditioning was set to highest temperature. TV only had few channels and they were all in Japanese. Breakfast was the same everyday. Plain buns, packs of jams/butter, hard boiled eggs. I gave up eating the same plain breakfast after 2 days. However, it was free so I should not complain. Overall, I still rate this hotel as Good, because all the shortfalls of room conditions were compensated by warm friendly staff and their flexibility. For example, I arrived at 11AM and was immediately allowed for early checked-in. Upon checked out, the hotel allowed luggage storage until "anytime", no questions asked. And the location was minutes away from Namba Station and Kuromon Market.

Very basic but good value and great location.
Everything was very basic, decor and provision quite masculine. Room and bathroom was small. A nice surprise that they provide continental breakfast, very basic but still appreciate to have a light breakfast before heading out for the day travel. Front desk staff was friendly. Very good location to shopping and restaurants and walking distance to subway and train station.

Great Location
Nissei is located near Namba Station and near tourist areas of Osaka; namely Dotombori, DenDen, Amerrikamura, etc., as well as Osaka landmarks. If you're headed to Osaka and entertainment is on your agenda, this is the area to be. Restaurant food prices are half of or less of North American prices, with excellent variety, quality, and quantity. Nissei is a little outdated from years of wear and tear, however good value for your money. Very friendly and courteous staff.

A horrible experience! Hotel is old and dirty, did not expect any 3 stars hotel condition can be so bad. Staff told us in English that they couldn't speak English when we asked for help to make a local call!

Hotel of convenience
The room is small but well compact for business treveller. It is located near to all amenity which waste no time for searching and walking. I enjoyed great shopping and yummy food in my 4 nights stay.

Nice hotel close to the downtown Namba area.
The hotel is located near Nankai station and Grand Kagetsu, major attractions in the Namba area. It was a little difficult to find the building, but the hotel staff gave me a direction, and reached there. Room is small, but clean and well equipped. There was a construction nearby, but it was quiet at night. Good place for price.

Excellent location, Rooms need major refurbishing.
Hotel is in an excellent location. Unfortunately, the rooms are not up to par. They look used and abused. Did not mind the rooms being on the small side, but it was far from clean. I am comparing this to the standard business hotel chains located all over Japan, and there is a lot that needs to be improved in terms of room comfort and cleanliness. The reception staff were very helpful and informative. Breakfast was simple and nice.

Hotel was situated on a quiet street, but close to many eateries and shops. Takashimaya was just 3 mins walk. The room itself is rather old and dated. The room smelled of smoke when I first arrived and I had to open the windows to let in fresh air. The smell was gone when i came back a few hours later so did not request for a room change. Breakfast was very basic, stayed 3 nights and only bothered to have it once. All in all, hotel is rather disappointing. Stay elsewhere if you find something else within you budget!

Great location. It was easy to access two train stations (Namba and Nippombashi). There are many restaurants around there and it is close to shopping area, including Kuromon market! Hotel is clean and staff is service-minded.

In the heart of Namba.
I needed somewhere cheap but close to life in Osaka. When it comes to basic accommodation, this certainly covers that. It was a little old in layout and needs an update but I could not fault the standards of cleanliness which was always such high quality in what was effectively a budget hotel. The staff were exemplary and most helpful when I needed advice or made a request. Some were not as advanced with English as others but all tried to help. With the location so close to Namba Station it was easy to go on trips to Kyoto and around the city. The hotel was professionally run and, though not luxury, it played the part of base camp for my operations just right. I read the room was too small for some previous reviewers but this is standard Japanese size so far as I can tell. Maybe I am too easily pleased but would I stay again? Yes I would. It is just the thing for the traveler on a tight budget or those who don't need anything flashy.

Convenient and practical hotel
The hotel is located near one of Osaka's must-see areas, Dotonbori. Food and shopping is very accessible, as well as multiple subway lines for traveling to other sight-seeing areas. The single room is actually okay for one but a bit cramped for two. The staff at Business Nissei is very friendly and approachable. There was some miscommunication due to the lack of verbal English capabilities but through gestures and some ingenious resources (Google Translate) we got on just fine. There is a simple complimentary breakfast everyday for all hotel guests. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable and convenient place, Business Nissei is a good option.

This hotel is available for 24 hrs .if you are early check in,you can deposit the baggage. Even if you keep everything in your room in day time ,it is safe!!!.there are housekeeper for clean everyday.
