"Excellent hotel"
The hotel is close to a business park, so is probably popular for business travellers, although we were there on holiday. We were travelling with the JR Rail Pass, arriving at Shin-Osaka station on the shinkansen, we transferred to Osaka station (one stop on the JR Kyoto line) then made our was to Osaka-Jo-Koen station (four stops on the JR loop line) - all covered by the rail pass. This was our first visit to Osaka, less hectic that Tokyo but still quite busy. The people are friendly, but then again, one rarely encounters unfriendly people in Japan. We used Osaka as our base for visits to Kyoto and Hiroshima.

"Wonderful hotel, conveniently located"
We had a great 5 nights over the New Year holiday! We needed a triple room and this hotel provided this type of room at a competitive rate. The room was spacious by Japan standards. It was also very clean and well-appointed. The beds -- even the 3rd which was like a rollaway -- were firm and very comfortable. The pillows were a combination of soft on one side and what we assumed were buckwheat hulls on the other. Loved the pajamas, too! The hotel is in a business area with not a lot going on. However, nearby in the Twin 21 building (a minute's walk), there's a cafe called Pronto, a McDonalds, and an izakaya called Watami. Across the canal there's Daiei, the subway and train stations, and a restaurant complex called COMS Garden. A few hours before leaving for the airport for our redeye flight, we used the lovely Spa on the 16th floor. I loved the sauna, jacuzzi, and onsen (both inside and open air). There is also a resting lounge that connects the bath areas for men and women, where you can (fully clothed of course) relax, nap, and/or have some refreshments. Tips: If you are traveling with children and/or with large or multiple pieces of luggage from KIX, the most relaxing way to access the hotel is via airport limousine bus (to the New Hankyu Osaka hotel bus stop near Umeda station). From there it is a $20 taxi ride to the hotel. Tell the driver you want to go to OBP (Osaka Business Park). I brought a map in Japanese which I downloaded for the website.

"Small rooms but much more!"
Ok, first statement is that if you can't handle being in a small room, then there's no point looking at this hotel Move on. If you're like me and don't mind having a small room, either because you're harldy in it (spend more time exploring) or you like small spaces, then this hotel is great. The room was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. No English channels on TV, but I'm in Japan, so who cares. The shower is warm (as is the toilet seat) and the bed is comfortable. We found that the lifts were fast and efficient, and the reception staff were helpful (one woman had great English, one man, not so good). The onsen on B1 level is a real bonus. Each night we used the onsen after tiring days exploring and travelling. The pools are big and warm and the sauna is hot. Take the towels from your room, but shampoo/body wash etc is provided. After the baths, we both slept like babies. This hotel is in a great location on Yodoyabashi. Go out of Exit 11, turn left at the top of the steps and walk about 2 minutes. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and places of interest around. In summary: If you don't mind small rooms (you are in Japan remember), then this hotel is great.

"Très bon rapport qualité prix"
J'ai passé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel à mon arrivée au Japon et m'y suis très bien reposée . Attention hotel pas forcément facile à trouver : si vous arrivez de Kansaï Airport, le mieux est de rejoindre la gare Namba puis de prendre un taxi (700 Y).
