Ideal location if willing to travel by transit. Not ideal if wanting to be located within walking distance to shopping, entertainment etc.

Amazing two nights stay here. We walked to the Okasa castle in 6 mins then we had a great dinner at the underground mall. We also went to spa bath in the hotel which were about $11/pp for two nights. Incredible breakfast offered as well. Overall, we love our stay so Thank You!

"Great location"
It's everything you would expect from a japanese hotel, small rooms and decent amenities. However, the room had the largest hotel fridge i have ever had. I've stayed in many 5 star hotels and the size of the fridge does not match the one in the room. Good enough to store fruits, drinks and dishes. It has a separate freezer and it freezes any liquid pretty quickly. The room also comes with free wired high speed internet and a microwave. The room itself was pretty small, but i was barely in the room unless i was sleeping so it did not matter to me. The bed is pretty comfortable, nothing special. The air conditioning system in the room was a bit weird. The temperature seem to be erratic, as the room would be cold, then a bit stuffy a couple hours later; it did not become to uncomfortable, but it was something I noticed during the stay. The vent was also pretty small and was located in the small corridor near the bathroom door. The hotel staff spoke little English, but it was good enough. The lady was very helpful and gave us the best routes to wherever we needed to go. They were kind and weren't hesitant to assist.

"Great location"
We used the wrong exit from metro to hotel.....walked for blocks unnecessarily. We should have just emailed the hotel first! USE EXIT 1B!!!!!!!!!!! We arrived at the hotel 1-2 hrs. early and our room was ready. Location is great with a 7-11 and McDonalds at metro stop and many nice restaurants on the side streets, too. The room was large for Japan. We were able to put our luggage on a stool/luggage rack at the bottom of the bed and still easily move around. We were only able to book a room with two single beds. They were somewhere between a single and a double....great for one person or an adult and child, but too small for two adults. Since we were two adults, it was perfect. Entire window wall had a built-in desk with a chair, multiple plug-ins for our electronics, small refrigerator to hold our beverages, tea kettle, tea, mugs, cups, robes and hair dryer. Room decor was tastefully modern and looked new. Bed was very firm with a hard pillow and a soft one, and duvet cover. Wifi was fast in room and lobby. Didn't have breakfast, but was $10 and appeared to cater to Asian/non-Asian diets. Staff was helpful, but limited English. They seemed to understand English, but difficulty speaking it. However, always smiling and willing to help. Location was about 1 block away from Osaka Museum and two from the Osaka Castle. Great location and two metro lines for easy connections. It was an upscale neighborhood of offices and restaurants. Quiet, peaceful room.

"Accommodation Osaka"
The hotel is in Sakuranomja, which is only 2 quick stops from Osaka rail station. The hotel is on a river and cherry tree blossom is just finishing. Osaka castle is approximately a 30 min walk from here and there's a museum and gallery also near Osaka Castle. From Sakuranomja station take the west exit and the hotel is a 5 min walk. The station is rundown, but don't let this put you off. The area looks run down, but safe and the hotel is very comfortable, breakfast is western and $AU10. Bed very comfortable, very clean. Staff can't speak Engllish at all, but you get by. Don't ask them for directions to anywhere at all. They try earnestly to please. The position of hotel to local rail station is easy and convenient and the district is convenient to Osaka city. My son lives in Japan and found this hotel. Definitely recommend. Very good value for money.

    Osaka Castle Hotels Guide

This district, previously a major rice market, showcases the changes Osaka underwent when Japan was opened to the West. Aside from nearby Osaka Castle, the historic walking course along Mido-suji Avenue is popular with visitors for its featured turn-of-the-century architecture. Nakanoshima Park, situated between the Dojima and Tosabori Rivers, includes a garden with 4,000 varieties of roses and the Museum of Oriental Ceramics well-known for its collection of Chinese and Korean pieces.
