“average”

The room was small, and no room for in-room dining. The Sunday brunch was very good.

“Mardi Gras Pub Crawl”

We picked this hotel because it was on the bus route for the annual Mardi Gras Pub Crawl. The location was convenient. The room was OK, but he heater kept blowing the curtains open. The hand soap was about the size of a quarter. We had a late night breakfast buffet and the food and service was very good.

“Family friendly”

If you are looking for a modern hotel this is not for you, otherwise wasn't bad. Went for spring break and was nice and quiet. The pool is great and the restaurant served great food. Have a mini golf course that kids enjoyed. Rooms are dated and the carpet in my room was wore down in main walking area. Rooms were clean though and beds soft. Would stay there again.

“Nice Resort”

We stayed at this resort in December and it was a nice, quiet place to stay. The room was very comfortable and clean and the indoor pool/hot tub were great! When we checked in the front desk clerk didn't have a lot of information concerning local activities (we were looking for Christmas light shows) but she was curteous. The room service was good and the food was very good! I'd like to stay here during the summer!

“Great Service Average Hotel”

We had a nice visit at Port Arrowhead, however the resort is in bad need of updating. The food at the restaurant was not very good, and the accomodations are average at best. However, the service was EXCELLENT!!! I couldn't have asked for nicer or better staff. They were friendly and eager to help. I would stay there again because of the service.

“Somewhat old hotel”

On paper it looks OK. And it is OK, but not great. It is somewhat old. Rooms are small. The computer booking/coupon system is obsolete. The business is in a serious need of fresh blood.

“Not impressed”

The price for the hotel was way too much for the property. We could have stayed at Tan-tar-a for the same amount of money.

“Maybe I expected Alot More”

It was okay, the room was mediocre, not real fancy, kinda plain. We ended up in a smoking room which was not what we requested, but it was tolerable. We did have a view of the Lake, but just a very small view. Very much appreciated the microwave and refridge in the room. Shower was hot, and clean. Pools were nice..indoor pool had no airflow, so the atmosphere was extremely stuffy and thick. Outside pools were nice. On site restaurant had some issues of not having on hand what was on the menu and long waits for the order. Great parking. All in all, okay experience..I have stayed in much nicer hotels for the same amount of dollars or less. People were friendly. I might go back.

“Nice Hotel”

Nice and friendly staff. Hotel is very pet friendly. Hotel is a bargain compared to others in the area. Pool area was very nice. Our only compaint was the table tent in the room said lunch was served in the restaraunt until 2pm. When we showed up at 1:30 they were closed.
