We were greeted by friendly staff who handled check in with ease handling our luggage and car. Rooms were smallish but very nice. Hotel restaurant was very good with a great outside patio and excellent views. Breakfast buffet was included and was very well supplied.
Everything about this hotel was great for me as a single traveler. Very thoughtful and professional staff, room overlooking the piazza (with balcony), wonderful breakfast and facilities. Highly recommend.
Charme Hotel Henry House is hands down the nicest place I've ever stayed in Europe. The staff is amazing from the moment you walk in the door. The service and accommodations are top notch. They helped us with parking (a god send -- believe me), recommended some fantastic dining and everything they do is done with the utmost attention to detail. The hotel itself is beautiful. It's very clear that this family has a very keen eye for design and hospitality. The breakfast (and snacks available throughout the day) is outstanding. Everything is homemade and delicious. Our favorite by far from our two weeks across Sicily. The terrace overlooking the water is beautiful -- we picked up sandwiches in town for lunch one afternoon and just hung out there. We noticed several other guests doing the same during our stay - it's just lovely and a perfect place to be. The terrace overlooks a pedestrian path along the water and I noticed that not a single passerby didn't glance up at the terrace with envy and then proceed to scope out the name of the hotel. We stayed in the ground floor triple room. It's a beautiful, and well appointed room. At first I was bummed to be on the ground floor but honestly it was quite nice and very quiet. All of the rooms seem to be peppered throughout the building with plenty of common areas so the whole place feels very private and like it's your own home. We could not have been happier with our stay.
"Nice B&B in Ortigia, Siracusa's historical centre"
We spent one night in this B&B in Ortigia, Siracusa's historical centre. The B&B is in a historical building, but the rooms seem recently refurbished to a good standard. The staff was very helpful, and the location was convenient (walking distance to the main square of the old town, short driving distance to the archaeological sites and some nice beaches).

The staff are very kind. Christine at the reception desk especially was helpful, friendly, efficient--helped with street parking and figuring out why we couldn't print a boarding pass. Our room (26)--in the newer building with the reception desk-- had a balcony and a great view of the ocean, and was next to the terrace. Some street noise, but not overwhelming in mid-Oct. The Gut restaurant next door was excellent.
