“Interesting experience”

“FLA experience”

Overall the package was great. I had a handicapped room, although not requested, and the room was very sparce. No Carpet, not much storage, however the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. I would go back again, but would request a nonhandicapped room.

“Nice pools”

Nice pools, some heated. Excercise room could need a refresh. No wireless. Otherwise seemed well maintained, constant guards on duty during the night. Location within OK driving distance, not so good for walking to popular restaurants in the area.

“Good Experience”

I was very nervous about the condition of the hotel after reading some of the reviews after I had booked the hotel. So when I arrived I saw the reviews were incorrect-the hotel room was nice & clean! I walked around the grounds and everything was maintained and the pools were nice. It was definately a nice resort and well worth the price through Expedia and I enjoyed my time while I was in Orlando!

“Ibrasa”

I did not like that there is no free WiFi. The bathroom was dirty with hair and pieces of toilet paper and the toilet was dirty, I had to clean the seat with hand sanitizer. The tub was stained with dirt, so I wore my sandals to shower and when I rubbed my sandals on the tub bottom the dirt came right off. We could not connect to the internet to check the stores and addresses near by online, for this day and age that is not good. The bed sheets smelled nasty and they were rough. I went to this same hotel about 2 1/2 years ago and it was not like this, so that's why I stayed there this time again, but this experience was not like my 1st. I did like the size of the bathroom and rooms, that was great and that it did not have carpet (which I dislike in hotels). The noise level from 11:45 to 2 am was terrible with kids running up and down the halls, but we did not call and complain because we understand vacation is vacation. Just wish next time we will have a better experience there, I will go back maybe.

“Not Impressed”

Cleanliness is definetly not one of this properties priority. We even called 2 x's regarding the cleaning of our room and nothing was done, in fact after the 2nd time they just left the cleaning supplies in the room. Wake up calls were requested but not programmed in. We had bugs in our room (not bed bugs) but still nothing was done. The rooms are old and smell musty and the staff pretty much has a "I don't care" attitude.

Area recommendations

I would highly recommend the Embassy Suites on I Drive, or Springhill Marriott on Universal. Staying on International Drive is great and offers so much to do. Most hotels offer complimentary shuttles to the parks so that is not an issue. And there are great resturants.

“Not thrilled.”

Nice grounds, guest rooms need updating. Very low water pressure in the shower, no wi-fi.

“The hotel was nice.”

The bathroom needed to be upgraded. The tub was a disappointment it had a liner that had water under it, that made it very unstable to stand on.

Family-friendly activities

Recommend the Ripleys Believe it or Not and the Wonder works for a little family fun. The themed parks are nice but sometimes less is more:)
