LakeView - With contemporary decor, this restaurant serves buffet breakfast and dinner and à la carte lunch daily. Disney characters drop by during breakfast on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The Market - Offering takeout coffee, pastries, sandwiches, snacks, beer, and wine 24 hours a day.

LakeView Bar - Open from early evening until late night.

The Lobby Bar - A lobby bar offering beer, wine, and cocktails from late afternoon until late evening.

Recreation

A large patio houses a 15 x 30-foot splash pool, a small children's pool, and a spa tub. Other facilities include two lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a playground, and a video arcade (surcharge). A fitness room provides two stationary bikes, free weights, and strength-training equipment. Supervised children's activities such as movies, swimming, and arts and crafts are available on select evenings (surcharge).

Guests enjoy preferred tee times at the five golf courses in the Walt Disney World® Resort, including the 18-hole Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, two miles from the hotel. Bike and watercraft rentals at Disney's BoardWalk Resort, horse riding and canoeing at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course are all within six miles of the hotel.

“Convenient Disney Hotel”

This hotel is my choice for Disney World vacations, it is inexpensive, clean and very convenient to Downtown Disney. The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort has a great new pool area, workout facilities, a business center that offers complimentary boarding pass printing, a full service restaurant, bar, and a 24 hour coffee and snack center that I appreciate in a hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and considerate to all my needs. I have stayed in many hotels in the Disney area over the past 12 years and this has become my personal favorite.

“Disney 11”

Doing a lot of remodeling but the staff was wonderful, helped us with a room change. Wings not so great rooms but the tower was very nice!

“will definitely return”

great service, great room, great location. been to orlando four times and stayed at some upscale hotelsand this was best experience yet. staff was wonderful, room clean with good view.... great place to stay.

“Check out local events first!”

Turns out there was a cheerleading competition during the weekend we webt and the hotels allowed these rude, noisy, arrogant, inconsiderate people to have rooms next to people who paid for a room to sleep in. WRONG!!!! As long as there isn't any local events that would cater to groups of young people this resort was awesome. Layout of hotel is frustrating and the restaurant was very limited.

“Good for a Disney trip”

We stayed just one night to go to Disney. You can walk to Downtown Disney from your hotel, which was nice. You are also already on your way to Disney parks once you leave the hotel & they are maybe 10min from the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants across the street that are a little less expensive than the place at the hotel. Somehow with 2 adults & 2 children who ate free we still pad 45 dollars for our breakfast buffet. Also we had a tower room which I thought we were suppose to see Disney from in those rooms & we got a side that was just highways & buildings & not a great view. I will take a cheaper room if we ever go back since I did feel that was a waste in the tower room.

“super nice and helpful staff! 5stars”

Only complaint was with shuttle service. Had to wait at Animal Kindom for over an hour in the heat. Was supposed to run every. 30 minutes. It didn't. Was really late for dinner reservations bc of it.

“Great Stay Great Service”

We enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista as it is strategically located and has excellent service to and from Disney theme parks. The hotel employees are helpful and joyful.

“good experience”

Because of Irene, our flight home was canceled. had to make a very fast hotel booking, and went based on price and location. Was very happy with both. Was pleasantly surprised with the room's style , cleanliness and space. Very pleased with bathroom both light, style, cleanliness and water temp/pressure. only disappointment was the breakfast buffet. fruit was the best part. the scrambled eggs, and pancakes were unappealing and the muffins and pastry were not the freshest. the orange juice tasted more like grapefruit. the dining room looked good and the waitress was nice. we could walk across the street to downtown disney, and the pools were enjoyable.
