We were very satisfied with this experience. The hotel fulfilled its purpose of giving us a place to rest after some busy days at the parks. This place is really close to Universal Studios and they have a convenient shuttle service to the park. If you're planning to visit Universal for more than a day, they have discounted tickets for you too. The free continental breakfast was good with options from toast, eggs, waffles, cereal and juices. Ihop and Taco Bell are just next to the hotel. It was a good stay for us.

I favorably recommend this hotel to every one who desire to share a very good time with his entire family in all the attraction around the Orlando area within a reasonable budget. The prices are very reasonable and the Hotel offer a very good service including breakfast, attraction tickets, park shuttles and much more. My family liked a lot.

“A super nice hotel to stay at for work purposes...”

This is a great hotel for location!! Minutes from International Drive and Universal. About 20 mins from the airport not using I4. Minutes the other direction to Millenia Mall, Cheesecake Factory and more and the Holy Land Experience. We chose this hotel for the closeness of where our conference was, and we were greatly surprised. The neighborhood was nice and quite too. The hotel staff was very friendly and seemed happy to help us with any questions. The day receptionist new exact directions to where we wanted to go, very helpful. The rooms were nice and clean, but not a 5 star, so don't expect that. Even the maintenance guy was very friendly and helpful. The pool was not a luxurious point. It was freezing ice cubes and only had 2 lounge chairs, but they had security problems so I see why. I would definitely stay there again, strictly for a nice hotel to sleep in.

“Stop looking-You will enjoy your stay here!!!”

This hotel is awesome!! Not only is the location excellent, but the facilities are very well kept. The rooms are very clean and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast is included in the price, and although basic, it is very good. It consists of scrambled eggs, sausages, toast or waffles, and pastries; also juice, coffee, cereal and milk. Internet is also included. The hotel is a 5 minutes drive to Universal Studios, there are plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance or a very short drive. What impressed me the most was the honesty of the staff. We left a computer charger in the room when we checked out, I immediately called the hotel upon my arrival home, and they were able to locate my item and mail it to us. It is very refreshing to deal with such honest people. We will definitely return to this hotel and we highly recommend it!!

“Great Stay”

The hotel was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the complimentary breakfast buffet had a decent variety...good enough to start the day. The hotel is right next to the I-4 and maybe 5 minutes from International Drive. Extremely close to Universal and Wet-n-Wild.

“Very nice staff and very clean”

We were very pleased with our hotel and all the details that Expedia worked out for us. The staff at Wingate were so helpful; we had an accident with one of our suitcases where something had opened up and spilled over everything and the staff gave us everything we needed to take care of it.

“One of the better hotels I've stayed in”

Check in was quick and the lady was very friendly. My parents had booked their room seperately from us, but had mentioned that we were together so the lady worked to find us rooms that were near each other. The breakfast was great with all the normal continental fare (juice, pastries, oatmeal) but they also had sausage, eggs, and waffles. This saved a lot on food because we filled up on breakfast and then didn't need to eat again until supper. The rooms were very nice, but it says they have a micorwave in the rooms and they don't (there's one in the lobby). Each room does have a little refidgerator which works wonderfully. The pool is outdoors and because we were there at the end of February it was cold. We spent our time in the hot tub. When we called for towels and when our toilet was leaking, they got to our room within 30 minutes, which is good for 10-11PM. This hotel worked out nicely for us, however, I'm not sure it would be great for families with children.

The personnel were the finest I have seen. They accommodated a room change without hesitation. Convenient location to Universal. Lots of fast food and other restaurants within walking distance outside of park. Breakfast was a plus--a great savings. Numerous discount outlet shopping centers nearby.
