“"Universally" Good”

We stayed here for three nights for our visits to Universal. We were given the room on the first floor, right behind the check in desk. I was concerned about the noise, however there were no problems! We slept peacefully each night. The room was great, lots of room. Bathroom was spacious and clean, air conditioner worked really well. We chose this placed based on it's location to Universal. I had read on another website, about walking and then taking another hotel's ferry. Totally not worth it. To get to that hotel, you are back tracking and wasting time. The casual walk we took one night to find this ferry, took about 30 minutes. However, if we had just walked directly to the parking garage and taken the people movers it was only about 15 minutes. We never did take the shuttles the hotel offered. Breakfast was hot and inviting each morning.

Very pleasant stay, we would stay here again. Breakfast had great variety, daughter loved the waffle machine! Room clean and beds very comfortable, w/little fridge to keep drinks/milk for coffee. WiFi was a bit weak. Pool was not heated and it was a cooler week so did not dare to go, a whirlpool was available most of the week. If you are planning to sun tan (December) or swim go to the beach. We mostly were there to visit Universal and other sites. Shuttle to Universal early in am but too early in pm, we realized it was a 20-25 min walk only, so we walked at night. Room had a safe, coffee machine and TV (good for rainy day). Staff was nice, room card got demagnetized often so we would get it done before going to room, just in case and they did not mind. Room service very accommodating.
