The hotel was very clean, fresh towels and linen every day. Rooms were cleaned once a week. Rooms were big and spacious, with a lovely view of the lake. The pool was lovely and clean lots of deck chair and you could walk right up to the lake and admire the nice view. Also another good point was that wet and wild is only a few mins away! All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for families as the rooms are huge and as their is a full working kitchen so you won't have to eat out. Bargin! Overall I thougth the hotel was lovely and I would go back in a flash!!!

“very comfortable accomadation”

We have been to Orlando 5 times and as our children get older we need more room. The 2 bed/2 bath apartment style of this Hotel was great for us and the use of full kitchen facilities was a bonus. Could not really fault our stay at this Hotel and would go back again.

“Great Location - would go back again”

Having read some of the reviews wasn't quite sure what to expect but we were all very impressed with the standard of accommodation. We twice had to report maintenance faults and on both occasions the service we received was excellent, the problems were resolved within about 10 minutes of phoning. We travel regularly to Orlando and we don't rent a car so this location was excellent, we will definitely return and have no problems in recommending this hotel.

“Great family hotel”

Hotel located minutes from Universal Islands of Adventure and looks down on Wet N' Wild. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Pool the warmest water ever found in a hotel pool. Would definitely stay there again.

“GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!”

We had a great 6 days at The Palace. Location was great as we were there to do Universal. Free shuttle was very handy and the Trolley service ($1.25) stops right next to the hotel which takes you to both outlet malls. If you want to do Wet and Wild it is right next door. We were very satisfied, a little apprehensive as we booked and took a chance with only expedia reviews to go on, but everything was more than we expected. The rate was very reasonable for what you received as the cooking facilities were well used by us which saved $$ rather than eating in the restaurants. The place was a good size for our family of 4 as the kids had their room with two singles and their own full bathroom, and we had our king room with our own bathroom. Everyone had their own space and own TV (3 of them, with HBO and HBO family) when we arrived home from a long day at Universal.

The two bedroom suite was very clean and comfortable. The king sized bed gave us one of the best rests we've had in months. Only two things would have made our stay better: free internet service and better follow-up on an orthopaedic neck pillow that we left in the hotel room and did not have returned to us.

“Great stay!”

Location and accomodations were great. Just 1 mile away from Universal/Islands of Adventures. Just bear in mind that this is a Timeshare property and as such they will try to "hook" you for a sales meeting. The 2 bedroom apartment was great, clean and convenient with a fully loaded kitchen, pots, pans, utensils, the whole works, even a washer and dryer, they provide dishwasher liquid, towel paper and kitchen towels. It was like home away from home! They even tidied up the place, which I thought was not included in the price, they made our beds and changed our towels. The only minor thing is that the seal around the glass door on the shower stall didn't work properly and the water spilled out and puddle outside and had begun rotting the wood on the door frame but that's just being picky, I wasn't buying the unit so it wouldn't affect my overall opinion of the place. On the other hand the water pressure was awesome!!!!!! I would certainly return to this hotel in the future. No problems with finding parking spaces as other reviewers complaint. They only odd thing was that after checking in, a guy that walked us up to the apartment and wanted to schedule a visit before we checked out to make sure that nothing was broken or defective before we left or we would be found liable and billed for it. Eventually I called the front desk and they told me to disregard that. I guess it was another sales pitch opportunity.

“Excellent Condo”

Excellent Condo! Very well maintained, very clean and well equipped kitchen. The in suite laundry is very nice feature. We stayed for three days after a cruise. Family of six, all young adult children had plenty of space and privacy. We definitely would stay here again. Perfect location for the Oultet malls and Universal.

“Perfect Place To Stay”

Stayed for 3 nights in October , everything you could ever want . Two bedrooms is great ,with a teenage daughter , condo was spotless , with every ammenity you could need , great view over the lake and quite . Very pleasent and helpful reception staff . Near Universal and many restaurants . What more do you want ? Would definitely go back !

“Great hotel, great location - no (hidden) fees.”

Great hotel, great location - no (hidden) fees. My only complaints would be that the beds are a bit on the hard side (nothing like at home) and the key cards gave us trouble (apparently all the other guests there was experiencing this too) - Getting in to the room didn't give us as much trouble as did getting in to the west wing took several tries. Everyone complained about it..but for the price, location and full kitchen i cant really complain. most likely to stay there again.
