Recreation
Guests enjoy a large outdoor splash pool and adjacent spa tub. A fitness room provides treadmills, stair machines, free weights, and other equipment.
Numerous golf courses are located in the Orlando area. Within six miles of the hotel, the Shingle Creek Golf Club features a par 72 course designed by David Harman. The scenic course lies along Shingle Creek, headwaters to the Florida Everglades.

“Perfect Location”
The location in Orlando can't be beat! Service was refreshingly attentive. Being attached to the Mall and located within easy connection to all crossroads and Interstates makes this property hard to pass by.It's nice to know that some hotels still put customer service above all else.
“Very nice hotel”
The hotel is very nice. The staff is friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. My only problem came when we stayed too late at the mall restaurant and had trouble getting back to the hotel (a big gate closes the mall entrance).
“Convenient for both the airport and the Convention Center”
We stayed here to attend a show at the Orange County Convention center. Fresh and modern decor, very comfortable room and ample free parking were great. Breakfast in the Crickets Cafe was a bit pricey, but Starbucks is a good alternate option and it is right next to the cafe. Will probably stay here again.
“Fantastic Time”
What a great Hotel. Built straight into the Florida Mall in Orlando, it's a great place to stay. Clean rooms and a very helpful staff only compliment this first rate Hotel.
“Great Stop in Orlando”
Great hotel that is fused with the mall. Short distance away from the Orlando attractions. Great service upon check-in and throughout the stay. I have stayed here approximately 5 times and have never had a better overall hotel experience. This has become the only hotel I visit during my trips to Orlando.
“A convenient hotel with everything!”
This was a wonderful experience! The mall is connected to the hotel and a simple 30 second walk from the lobby takes you to the mall with a food court (and there are a few restaurants outside the mall within walking distance; you have to try the Red Lobster) and numerous shops so you're hardly bored. The beds were so comfortable, with down padding and fluffy pillows. There was a little mold in my bathroom, but I really didn't care, and the room was very spacious. And the hotel has complimentary shuttle services that will take you free to Epcot, Universal, and Sea World (must tip though). The downside is that the shuttles only pick you up at designated times, so you may miss out on the fireworks at Disneyworld or if you miss the shuttle, you may have to call a taxi. However, there's no more rennovations, the hotel is grand, spacious, a wonderful pool and jaccuzi and it's own Starbucks Coffee! And the rooms were so comfy, so I'd certainly say this hotel has everything you could ever need.

The improvements under new ownership are very good. Parking is an issue unless you use the valet.

“My Orlando Home”
The stay was excellent as usual, the staff friendly, the service great. However we did have a slight problem with the TV in one of our rooms. It was never fixed during our stay, but I received an E-mail once we got home thanking me for filling out the comment card and stating that the TV in that room was repaired. To be honest I think it was just a matter of replacing the Batteries in the Remote.
“Good minus the wait”
Our stay at the hotel was good overall, however when we tried to check in at 5:30 pm we were told there was a wait list for the rooms so they wouldn't be ready for an hour which pushed back all of our evening plans. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay, and the room and hotel were very nice.
