“Great location and comfort!”

We arrived at the hotel about 15 minutes after check-in. It took the desk clerk about 5 minutes to check us in, which was great. The room was spacious for the five of us. It was nice to have the living room with the pull out bed. It was also nice to have two TV's (especially with kids wanting to watch cartoons). Refrigerator and microwave was nice to have. Beds were comfrotable, hot water was good. The only complaint my husband had was the toilet(it would make a strange noise), but we closed the bathroom door and that solved the problem. The free breakfast was great to have before going to the parks. It was a hot breakfast buffett. This hotel is in an excellent location and directly across the street from the Pirates Dinner Show. There are several restaurants nearby and very easy to get to Universal and Seaworld. We did not have any problems with bugs at all. A key card is required to get onto the property after check-in (I thought that was a good security measure).

A few hotel reviews made me nervous. But they did give us new towels daily, so maybe they worked that out. They tidied up the room as best as it could be. And the hotel staff all were extremely nice and pleasant. We stayed on the 6th floor and the elevators weren't as "slow" as some have said so I guess they worked on that as well. The rooms have definitely seen better days, but it was clean and we had hot water for showers. It had Central AC. Did not do: the free shuttles, eat the free breakfast, take part in the two free drinks coctail hour, or use the pool/hottub. So I can't comment on those. Pros: You can walk to TGI Fridays next door, a food shop nearby, or some places on International Drive (north of Sand Lake). It was quiet, cleaning crew comes by several times if you aren't ready at first. New towels and little soaps daily (the usual). Cons: there was the beginnings of "florida" mold on the shower curtain (which was probably due to no ventilation fans), no TP when we first got there (which was immediately taken care of), and one night the parking lot was full (which was taken care of by going to the front desk and obtaining a parking permit for the Friday's parking lot next door). Oh and their room coffee is fairly bad. Folgers/etc = ugh. We just basically wanted this for clean sheets while we did other things around the area, and it worked for us. For the price, this place was great!

after reading the reviews you would think this is a bad hotel that why you should look closer i found this hotel to be clean the service was good the room was big the shuttle to unverial studios good I am very happy with this hotel.

“Enjoyable, but....”

Got a room with a king size bed and a pull out queen. King was comfy, queen was what one would expect from pullout. Asked for more pillows and was treated like I was insane for asking, was toldthey would see what they would do, and then nothing. Free breakfast was alright. Not great but had variety. All and all, I enjoyed my time here and would probably go back for the price I paid. Real close to lots of activities.

They clean the room every day, stock towels, vacuum, change trash, etc. They have a hot breakfast buffet. The hotel garden is very beautiful and the pool is nice as well.
