“Excellent hotel for the price!!!!”
it was very nice. easy to find right off of the highway and well within walking distance of downtown disney. the buses to the parks were also quite convenient. breakfast both days that we stayed were excellent and much more than we though we were going to get. staff was friendly and polite throughout our whole stay. the rooms were great. beds were EXTREMELY comfortable and the ac worked great. would definitely recommend to a friend or stay there again.
“Great hotel, great location!”
A great hotel in a really convenient area. Close to lots of local stores for amenities and many restaurants. The hotel is on the basic side, but it is clean and tidy. Bright and colourful too, and it's easy to spot due to its big Pineapple on the side of the building! The staff were very helpful and friendly too, giving us lots of information about the local area. The hotel has free shuttle services to all off the Walt Disney World theme parks, running at various times throughout the day, the hotel staff will give you a list of times. The free shuttles do not take you to the Disney water parks, however, you can take a free shuttle to one of the theme parks and get a free Disney Transport bus from there. There is also a bus stop just in front of the hotel. Tickets are $2 per passenger, and the route we took (50) can take you to Downtown Disney, and Magic Kingdom. Overall a great hotel, which we would definitely recommend!

My family had a grate time at this hotel. But the only thing I was sad about the refrigerator in the room.
“A Definite Winner!!!!”
Although querky looking on the inside and needing some updating on the inside, this hotel provided a great stay for my daughter and me. The room and bathroom were very clean, sheets and bedding were clean, a/c worked great - only thing wrong with our room was that the carpet was loose and needed stretching in traffic areas. One other downside was no microwave or fridge in the room. That costs $10 per day. Huge plus to this hotel was location. It is roughly one mile to Downtown Disney (a very nice walk during nice weather); it sits across CrossRoads which is a Restaurant Park housing just about any restaurant you can imagine so take your pick...! We went to Kobe Japanese Hibachi and had a superb dinner! They have good specials after 9pm. Also right next door to hotel you will find a great gift shop, an IHOP and Dunkin Donuts,etc...I LOVED the convenience of this hotel. Front desk staff was very helpful as well. For the price and comfort - it's a no-brainer. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Orlando.

“Great deal!!”
I was a little nervous about staying at this hotel, since it seemed to have such mixed reviews from all the travelers on expedia. Now that I'm back from my vacation let me tell you, we had a great time staying at the Pineapple hotel! Firstly, my friend and I got there pretty early the first day. We arrived at 11 am, and the front desk was nice enough to give us a room even though check-in time wasn't until 4 pm! It was surprising and we were very thankful for this! Shuttle service to the parks was good, though I would have enjoyed more shuttles and more times available. They don't have a direct shuttle to Universal, but you can arrange one by using an outside company. The hotel is within walking distance of Downtown Disney, though it may take you about 20 minutes to get there. But the walk is very safe so don't be alarmed. The area around the hotel is nice too, with a Denny's, Subway, IHOP, and a large grocery store. Also, MAKE USE OF THE LYNX 111 BUS if you need to get to the airport! It takes 45-60 minutes but only costs $2 per person. The continental breakfast was good, better than no breakfast at all. We stayed for 8 days and had an enjoyable time! I wish I could go back...I feel like I got a great deal!
“Big bang for the buck”
I tell you, for the price, this Hotel could not be beat. The staff was friendly, the location was perfect, and there was even free breakfast-even if it was just toast, cereal, fruit, and coffee. I would definately stay here again. The hotel was right near the interstate, and right near the entrance to the disnet parks. Less than 2 miles from downtown disney, and there were several shops and restaurants in walking distance
“Loved the Pineapple Hotel!!”
Wonderful stay, wonderful staff! Watch out for the Disney guest services guy (who isn't affiliated with the hotel) because like the saying is, nothing is for free! He's not trying to get you to see a resort he's trying to get you to buy a timeshare....You've been warned! All in all Loved the hotel and would stay again! Beds were very comfortable, front desk and bartenders were very friendly and very very helpful! Contenental breakfast is small but that is expected with contenental. Hot tub is Hot and wonderful! If you go to the bar make sure to say hi to Lucy! She is wonderful!
“Great”
I was looking for an hotel near Disney, Downtown, other shoppings and even Universal Studios. The hotel is in a great location. If you don't want to have the continental breakfast in the hotel, you have an IHOP 45 seconds walking and in front you have a Denny's. A lot of option for dinner near the hotel. It isn't a luxurious hotel, but it is comfortable, clean. I recommend this hotel, just like someone recommended to me.
“Hotel great value for what you pay”
Hotel was great. I had read all of the reviews and cannot understand when others made negative comments about cleanliness. I to have a standard and consider myself a fussy traveller. But we arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night to be greated by a very polite and sympatheic guy at the reception desk (our luggage was at JFK) Our room was always clean and very comfortable. We opted not to have our beds changed everyday as thats unrealistic. Also with our towels where we opted to choose when we wanted to have them changed I never expect too much from the free breakfast but the coffee was good. Although the pool didn't get any sun on it we were able to sit where the sun was shining for the length of time we wanted to and then cool of in the pool. Every member of the staff were always polite and very helpful. We had a great week.
