“A good deal”

“No Longer a HOLIDAY INN!! Its an Orlando Hotel”
The elevator froze on us. We had to manually open the door to jump 2 feet onto solid ground. The staff was nice but way too overwhelmed it seemed like. Parking is a HASSLE! You have to park far at night. POOL was nice thou.
“Good Hotel”
It is close to Sea World. You can get chinese fast food restaurant number from front desk who will deliver food to your hotel room. There is a chinese Buffet center right next to the hotel. The hotel provides a fridge on request. The top floor (6th) rooms are hot during summer, but if you leave the air condition on for 15-20 mins it becomes okay. We went as a group of 3 adults and 1 child. No compliants. There was a trolley also available at front desk to take your luggage. There is a hotel to Magic Kingdom (Disney World) and Universal Studio free Shuttle service. Going out at 9 am and 10 am respectively and coming back at 10 pm and 10 pm respectively. You have to book it in advance by writing your room number and number of passenger in a register at front desk.
“Very nice for the (low) price”
I have no complaints about this hotel. We had a clean, comfortable room. I wouldn't say "top of the line", but for the price it was fine. The surrounding area was nice (good crab house next door), and felt reasonably safe. The free breakfast buffet was also pretty nice.
“Great stay at Orlando Hotel and Suites”
The room was clean and well designed and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The beds were firm and comfortable and we appreciated the microwave oven and small refrigerator. The hotel is close to good restaurants (Giordano's) and the Orlando Convention Center - which we needed. Overall, I give it a good score except for one thing: The room's stuffiness and mustiness. I don't think the AC unit is quite up to snuff. I woke up every morning all stopped up, which disappeared once I was out of the room for awhile.
“An Unpublished Rate Gamble turned out well!”
I booked this hotel because it was one of Expedia's "Unpublished Rates", we wanted to go to Universal Studios, and this hotel was the right price, the right stars, and in the right place. My first reaction to the place was that the front desk woman was clearly stressed out. Which is understandable, but still, not the first impression you want. But she did check us in and tell us about the tram schedule. We went up to our room and it was so clean and nice! Granted, some of the paint was chipped, and you could see some wear and tear on the walls. But that was okay (afterall, as long as the beds/bathroom were clean, which they were, a little wear and tear is okay). The beds were so comfy! Our room also had a rather large fridge and microwave in the room, which was SO nice (especially since they didn't have breakfast downstairs). The tram back and forth from Universal was so nice. It's only a ten minute drive, and with it leaving the hotel at 8:30, we got there just as the park opened. Downside to the free tram was they only came to pick you up at 6:00 and 8:20 pm, which during September when the parks are on off season is a little late. We had done everything and rode all the rides by 3:00, sometimes 4:00, and we ended up killing a few hours. But it was free, saved us from paying parking! We would definitely stay here again, everyone we dealt with was nice (enough), and with the hotel being so close to everything, it was very convenient.
