“Would stay again”
I had paid for and had the receipt for two rooms online but when we got there it only showed that I had one room. It was worked out though and customer service was very helpful. The room/hotel was very clean and comfortable. The price and location were great as well. I would recommend to a friend and would stay again.
“Good Choice”
Not real fancy, not a new hotel, but a great value for the money. Short drive to Universal. We just needed a place to sleep & shower for one night. I was a little skeptical because of the price, but because of the reviews of previous guests, I chose Monumental Movieland Hotel over better-known hotel chains. My family (in-laws!) was very happy with my choice. It turned out that we didn't stay at Universal all day & took advantage of the pool. The tile coping could use a little cleaning, but it was acceptable. The clean towel bin wasn't identified, so I went to the desk to request towels. It took a few minutes for the towels to arrive & then I felt foolish for not looking in the bin. Would definitely go back.
“Best hotel on north of Int Drive”
Very friendly staff always polite & helpful, people complain about damp smell, I can tell you what causes this KIDS RUNNING IN & OUT OF THE HOTEL FROM THE POOL AREA WITHOUT DRYING THEMSELVES OFF, As I witnessed this with my own eyes on several occasions. Please keep your kids under control & stop blaming this hotel for their bad behaviour & none discipline. The first 10 days of my stay were great as not many families were in the hotel, but the last 6 were totally different with children running up & down the corridors slamming doors, the parents should respect other holiday makers but not many do. This was my 2nd stay in this hotel and I will go back again & again & again, as I think this is the best hotel in the north area of Int drive as I've stayed in Comfort Inn & Ramada lakeside in the past & still think Monumental Movieland beats them hands down. I stayed in room 321 4th July onwards, it was excellent, thanks to all the staff my wife & I met on our 2 visits to this hotel. Your help was appreciated, thanks. I recommend this hotel to couples only so we don't have to put up with other peoples children wrecking our hard earned breaks away from work. again.

“Good value for the money!”
The front desk staff was wonderful and super nice - even when we had to change rooms due to some water damage. They were awesome and did not make us feel bad. We picked this hotel for its proximity to the parks we planned to go to and it was fab! Restaurant is good and the location is fab! Walk to ice cream stand or shops. we will be back!!
“Brilliant hotel!”
First time I have been to this hotel. This is in a very convenient place just on the door step of universal studios, wet n wild + many other places down International Drive. Hotel is very clean and staff were very friendly. I certainly will be going back there again!
“Hotel Great, Not impressed with Restaurant”
The Hotel was excellent for the price category. The problem we had is the Sizzler Restaurant connected to the Hotel. Do not tip for food or bar!!! The bartenders and waiters automatically get a percentage that is added into the bill as service charge. The bartenders do not tell you this and we found out the hard way, after tipping them every night for 10 days. The manager was very unpleasant when we brought this to her attention. Other restaurants in the area have service charges on their menu for food as well but do not apply the service charge to the bar. Watch out! Eat across the street or down the street it's less costly and much more honest.
“A good place to lay your head”
We have stayed at this hotel 3 times and every time is as good as the last. Ideally situated for all the shops & restaurants in International Drive & the parks are nearby. Wet & Wild opposite, Universal Studios 5 mins ride away, Disney 30 mins away and of course all the designer shops nearby as well. I think this is ideal for couples and familys. Highly recommended
“Centrally located and very comfortable”
The staff was very helpful, and the hotel was very clean. The pool was landscaped beautifully, and was very clean. There were plenty of towels poolside. The location was central to everything we wanted or needed to do, and I will definitely stay there again.

The price was affordable on a budget. My first time staying at that hotel and I was very well pleased about it's cleaniness. It was easy access, within walking distance to many resturants, the water park and just a short distance driving to Universal theme park. I and my family enjoyed our stay, will stay there again. A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. Oh, by the way, the staff was very courteous and polite.
